Hi all, This here forum has been brilliant before and solved many issues for me, so here goes again. I've read the 'Chemical Guide' and a few other threads but really don't understand. So I have a few questions if anyone can help? 1) I'm getting worried about the new rules next year and I'm wondering if it is possible to make something similar to my favourite tipple (24mg Hangsen Dunhill)? 2) If so, what do I need to buy and where is the best place to get it? 3) If the above is possible, will it still be possible to obtain the materials I need after the ban? 4) If anyone has tried to copy a flavour, how were the results - did you get close did you get to the original? Thanks all.

Main thing is it will almost certainly be illegal to sell any nic base above 20mg in the UK. You either need to stock up on 72mg or hope you can import it.
Everything Liquid and Darkstar (among others) are usually recommended on here for nic base.

I've had a quick Google and can't find a concentrate for that particular flavour, but that's not to say it doesn't exist. While I should be encouraging you to mix (it really is easy!), there is another option if sticking to the same flavour is important to you. I can't see there being any trouble getting hold of Hangsen in the future, you'll just be limited to 10ml bottles of 18mg. If you stock up on 24mg while you can get it but buy some 18mg too and mix them together, you could gradually lower the level of nic you vape until buying 18mg isn't a problem. But get into mixing Edit Perpetua has better Google skillz, innit?

Stock up on some nicotine to add to your bottle if you dont want to go the diy route
if its a 50/50 mix adding 1.25ml of 72 mg of pg based nicotine to a 10 ml bottle of 18 mg strength of your juice will give you the 24 mg strength at a ratio of 55% iish of PG and 45% ish of VG (according to the recipe calculator) or 1.25ml of 72mg VG based nicotine would do 45% ish pg and 55% ish vg . I wouldn't think it would interfere withe the flavour too much but will reduce it a little,

1) I'm getting worried about the new rules next year If you do get nicotine. You can figure out how long your stash will last you by using this simple but very useful calculator someone else (credit to can't remember who) put up on this forum. www.e-liquid-scripts.com/vapocolypsecalccredit to person who posted it and the writer of the script.

Bit confused as to what Nicotine Base I need to make my 24mg liquid - Dark Star only seem to do 7.2%? How would that translate to a 24mg liquid?

How would that translate to a 24mg liquid? 7.2%nic is the same as 72mg/ml nic, just a different way of expressing it. If making 24mg/ml e-liquid from it you would dilute the 72mg/ml nicbase with PG, VG and flavour concentrates. There are online calculators to tell you how much of each to use. If using syringes, it is just a matter of sucking up the correct amount of each and squirting them into a bottle.

+1 for e-liquidrecipes , since losing the one on this forum I have starting using them, and now wouldn't go anywhere else, it covers measuring by weight as well (which is a very good way to mix larger quantities) and the database of recipes already there is amazing, you store all of your own, and there is also plenty of information about flavours, written by people who use them, AND.. you can store a record of your own concentrates and get suggestions on what you can mix from them
