Have Ebay changed their policy regarding Nicotine?

I've just noticed some e-liquid retailers on Ebay now give a choice of Nicotine strengths on their listings, and others stating the Nicotine strength in the main sales blurb. Has there been a change of policy at Ebay, perhaps with the intro of the TPD setting the legal guidelines?

E-cigarettes, e-shishas and related accessories such as atomisers, liquids (with and without nicotine) and flavours are allowed if the permitted seller has an effective age verification process that satisfies due diligence as described in the Business Companion guide for online age verification checks. In addition, permitted sellers must include the following text in their item description:

“I have an effective age verification process that satisfies due diligence as described in the Business Companion guide for online age verification checks and I will not sell to persons that are under 18 years old”.

Cigar bands and packaging can only be listed individually if they don't include actual tobacco

Items that are used for smoking tobacco - including cigarette papers and pipes - as long as they follow our drugs and drug paraphernalia policy

Well, i.m.o. this is going to be very interesting indeed. The company (ebay) that stood against e-cig liquid now seems happy to allow it given the conditions mentioned by Perpetua.
I can see some holes in this... is it not likely that some non-compliant liquid is going to find it's way into the infinite corridors of online auction sites?

They are a law unto themselves, I sold a mod on there couple of mths back, went to list another one and they blocked me from listing it stating that I had to be a verified tobacconist to sell it on there, bizarre.

Will try again shortly with another mod and see if it goes through.

So, what about the quality of juices being sold on there too? If they can now sell big (100ml) bottles of juice with nicotine inside but there is little or no way of determining manufacture quality (i.e. clean room) or the products used to make the juice?

I'm sure some of the established and respected juice vendors going through TPD shenanigans and costs might be a little grumpy with Ebay? (even though I am assuming this will be temporary until May 2017?)

Stand by for the ' Report ' button to be widely used after that time I'd imagine - if Ebay don't deal with the situation ' in house ' ghostrider1971.

I should imagine if this is the case we will probably start seeing known and trusted vendors on eBay. It's certainly a place to be careful buying from though

ebay = if two or more items listed appear to be identical then only the cheapest sells = price war or no sales
