just got 6 new batteries after 4 years use from the other aw imr's i have from a company that's closed now until the 5th and one of the bsteward's has leaked and killed my provari after 2 hrs of being in the device, Froooking fuming. If i had a virtual fist it would pop out the other end of the phone and be rammed down there throats. And no, I only vape at 8W and yes i will go there. Here's a pic of the battery where it leaked. You want fireworks look back here on 5th January with good or bad news, bad news it'll be viral and you won't miss it anyway cause it will be on every social media i am related too because im not going to use those batteries at circa £80 and replacement provari mod, end of.

Sorry to here of your misfortune. Are you sure it's a genuine AW IMR ?
Is the Provari dead as a dodo with one of your old batts ?

I've also my doubts that these are genuine AW's having used a fair number of them over the years in my Provari's . . . . although it's not beyond the realms of possibility to get a bad one I guess. Have you put in a PayPal claim for the loss baconandeggs?

Assuming that the company that "is shut until the 5th" is CdeV, I think you can be assured that the AW batteries are genuine and you are just unfortunate that you have received a faulty product. CdeV are a very reputable company and I am sure that when you make them aware of the unfortunate incident after the Christmas break, they will compensate you fully. I don't think that involving PayPal would be helpful at this early stage until you have spoken with CdeV (if indeed they are the vendor).

If it is CdeV we are talking about probably the most trusted and reliable retailer in the country.

I wouldn't disagree with that but wonder how you deduced who the vendor is from the scant info supplied. I do hope your right though as I'd expect them to replace the batteries and fix the Provari

I also reckoned that if the OP had bought from an unauthorised AW dealer he wouldn't have cause for complaint.

Blamed everything on me and the Provari so ended up and settled through Paypal. Least you got something baconandeggs. I must admit i don't use AW batteries in mine at all and have no issues to date. All i know is the Provari mini i used every day every minute of the day since 2012 never missed a beat using the original AW batteries from 2012.. I purchased a Provari Radius recently direct from Provape again to see what all the fuss was about with wattage, also got new GENUINE AW imr batteries from another authorised supplier in the UK as i'd had the originals, well since then. Anyhow, How this come about was i put one of the new AW batteries into my Provari mini (18350) and the same tanks and juice on the radius and mini at 8w and about if i remember right 3.6 - 3.8v to see what the difference was between watts - volts, 5-10mins later i put the provari mini down on its side for an hour or two picked it back up and it did not work it was just blank, dead. I took the battery out as you do and there was a foul smell and after closure inspection there was some residue on top of the battery and a small pinhole on top of the battery on the black bit, tried another Battery in the Provari and it was dead.
