What is it with Wales? Or at least Ashley Gould from Public Health Wales (PHW) who said: What a load of tosh. Are adults not allowed to like Bubblegum and jam doughnuts? It makes my blood boil.... Right, I am now in rant mode and this wally will get a letter. Doughnut is one of my favorites. His comment is not only stupid but factually wrong. These flavors are aimed at everybody. What is it with people's choice of language?... it's fair enough to say "We are concerned about some flavors being more attractive to young people" but that's not what he said. He said "only aimed at one audience"... and he is wrong. That is a fact so therefore he is telling an enormous pei porc. Maybe he'd be interested in tooting on some of my pei mwd mississippi.  |

I think authenticity is the reason for bubble gum's popularity. You can get close but not match a natural flavour. But you can match what is already an artificial flavour like bubble gum. Same as you can't get an exact lemon but you can match the lemon in lemon meringue pie.
