Do you feel as if you have phlegm in your throat coughless? (Sorry peeps, but we all had it as smokers.) If you do, then it's too much gylcerine.

It could be the chest clearing as you said Kama, it does take a while.

Mine never cleared Nicky, so I'm cutting down the gylcerine.

It will be 4 weeks on Thursday Ive been vaping It is phlegm that needs to be cleared. Its not chest though, its throat. How would i cut down on glycerine (without cutting down on vaping), if that's the main ingredients of juice? My first, my last, my everything

That's what I was like coughless, it lasted a couple of weeks then cleared of it's own acord although I did buy some medicated mouthwash to gargle with as i felt like I had a bad taste in my mouth. some vendors do PG only juices, though you may find them a bit harsh on your throat it's early days yet, I would wait and see if it disappears

My first, my last, my everything When you order your juice, ask for higher PG content than glycerine, try 80% PG, 20% VG to start maybe? You'll need to experiment until you get a mixture that's right for you.

I've been vaping for 29 months and when I first started my smoker's cough vanished immediately. The downside of that was a very 'tight' feeling in my chest that lasted for over a year - was preferable to wheezing however. After that I found my chest was a bit 'itchy' and I had a dry cough for a while before it became productive (how polite is that?). I do have mild bronchial asthma from time to time although I haven't had problems for a long time now and it seems to make no difference what mix I vape. I prefer PG for the satisfaction although a VG mix gives a smoother vapour and much more of it. I also had quite severe gum bleeding for two years that has only just stopped - I feel all these changes are as a result of stopping smoking rather than from vaping. I read somewhere that it takes as long for lungs to recover from smoking as one was a smoker. That being the case there will be lots of noise from my coffin! (sorry). Fox

The only effect that vaping has had on my actual voice, is too improve it as I was getting/got that horrid smoker's gravelly voice chugging away on 40/50 a day. I noticed with someone else, who I spoke to on the phone about 6 months after they'd been vaping, a vast improvement in their voice quality as well.
