Womble......... I dont know whether this may work but have you tried putting your visions in the airing cupboard after cleaning? May dry better rather than leaving them for the sun to come out
....... just a thought........ dont know whether it would work ???

We don't have an airing cupboard, or a boiler atm, lol, it's broken and even if it wasn't, we don't have it on now, as it's oil and costs a fortune to run, it is only on anyway when we have the heating on (which we haven't for ages (cost)) and we only warm up the water when the kids are having a bath, so the boiler cupboard is hardly ever warm.
We do sometimes have the woodburner on, but not atm, not cold enough.

I normally vape it dry.. I play a little game called "get juice on the wick" when the level is low.. Then dry burn, rinse, shake it dry and give it a couple of blasts which gets rid of most of the water and fill and vape..It takes about 2 minutes

The reason you might want to dry it is that you don't spend half an hour burning off the juice that the wick has absorbed before dry burning. Obviously it's just an option, or you can just keep burning away until the coil lights up, or vape it dry first. Dry hits are yukky though.
On the question of getting the coil in, put it all in place just using the inner flexible ring first. Protect the wick by lowering it carefully to avoid rubbing, pinching it either side of the slot, like Rockin' Robbie does.
When it's all lined up using the ring, slot the central metal core in to tighten everything. Trying to get the wire in place at the same time as the other two bits is really hard.
I may be missing the point, you might already be doing that.

I do that, I just can't get the wire to go down the side of the ring when I push it down, it keeps coming out, I just don't have enough hands! I've got a magnifying glass on a stand now, so I can actually see the thing, but I can't keep the wire in when the wick is pushed down.

I think most peeps were talking about drying after cleaning..Not before.. For me dry burning is more like 30 seconds..or two to three blasts till the circuit cuts out... I 've never had a dry hit..Not even once..What looks like loads of juice at the bottom in the end is less than 0.1 ml and most of it is condensation..

The 2nd one went slightly better, as I made the wire slightly longer than the silicone ring and was able to slip the end in before the slot was closed by the ring (hope that makes sense) But unfortunately the wire rose slightly while pushing it down, so the end of one turn has lifted, I didn't have the heart to redo it.
