The 2ml tank is tpd compliant, so will apply to any tank unit sold within Europe. However if bought from China you could get either depending on the product description on fasttech. It doesn't really matter because you can "remove" the 2 ml restriction from within the tank if you so wish. All the tanks for the Penguin are the same, it's just the tpd compliant ones have a silicon plug inside, which can be removed, oh and you get a different sticker on the outside. Hope this helps.

There is a small $ price difference on the atopack with the size of tank. I did order the larger tank, so hopeing this is what they send, which I should think so.. What I normaly vape with is so basic, and old style. But it works,, shame I only like it when the coil has just been replaced, but the price of them from fasttech for a 5 pack is so good I replace every 2 days,, (When the vape cloud looks abit thin). I have been chasing big clouds with very little success. Tried sub ohm, again not really successful. So I am hopeing this atopack penguin works like I hear.. I am a mouth to lung vaper ( I like the throat hit) and keep trying the straight to lung but habit keeps pulling me back to mouth the lung..

You will get a decent amount of vapour with the Penguin, depending on the vg content of your juice, I use 70vg/30pg which I mix myself. I've been running the same coil the .6ohm since I got it about 2 weeks ago, without any drop off in performance so you should be ok. However with the .6ohm I wouldn't exactly call it mouth to lung draw more like a tight lung hit, but you will have see how it goes. As far as the tanks are concerned you can get the 2ml ones (which can be easily converted) from Joytech U.K. For around £2.50 a throw, so no problem there either. For conversion see the video earlier in this thread.

That's good to know, thanks I mostly vape 70vg/30pg.. And I tend to stick with mint Choc chip flavour for my daily vape.. I am really looking forwards to it coming now. I kind of wished I'd ordered the black now tho i don't know what I was thinking with this colour.. .

It's down as a special edition colour.. I didn't notice the cut out on the side.. Till you pointed that out... I choose battery's that are different colours so I know which one is working well on the tanks I am using.. I make my own lanyard with a black lace holder.. So the colour shows through. I think I wasn't thinking when buying the purple penquin. Just forgot I may not make a holder for that one.. But if I do I will post a photo..

UPDATE In the end, I waited for Vapefest to get a Penguin. I nearly bought 2 of them, but my missus persuaded me against, just in case she didn't like it. (She doesn't... it's not really MTL) Messed around with it last night. Made some 60% PG liquid (recommended more PG for the 0.6ohm coil) and carried out the 8ml conversion. Very easy, but definitely follow the video(s) on YouTube and DON'T LOSE THE TINY METAL BAR IN YOUR SINK as you disassemble. The 2ml tanks simply have a space filling silicone bung in the bottom of the tank - you don't need it... pull it out!!

The JVIC 0.6 ohm coil lasted barely 3 days (20% concentrate RY-Whore 50/50). Pity... as I ordered a 5-pack from China which might be slow in arriving.
The 0.25ohm is installed. Will post an update.
Enjoyable vaping mind you.

It's a definite FAIL for me.
Coil flooded primed before use. When battery lights are 3 or less it's fine. Charge it up and it burns the wick.
It needs a higher ohm coil.

I'm posting mostly to say thanks to Joyetech for a quick response. After 3 months my penguin battery wouldn't charge any more - the connector had been getting gradually more iffy - so I sent an email to Joyetech, at 9 am on Tuesday. I got a phone call from them at 9:40, they said they'd send me a new one with an sae to return the bad one; that all arrived this morning, so just 2 days - nice new blue penguin, 2 new coils. Well done!
They market the penguin as a starter kit, and I am a long way from being a starter, but I think this is the bees knees - first thing to give me a decent cloud which I can carry in my pocket without fear of it leaking. That's with the .25 and mostly VG juice of course. I've had no burning while using it, but you do have to prime the hell out of it before use. Coils start to go (reduced taste, gurgling a bit) after about 2 weeks (70ml).
The tanks don't last forever either - I reckon about a month - and then juice seeps past the coil, and if you don't mop it up, into the battery compartment and out of the hole at the bottom. I've taken to removing the coil by pushing a q-tip up through the mouthpiece rather than digging at it with my fingernails and that seems better. I also wipe the coil's bottom when I put more juice in. New tanks only cost £3, so it isn't a biggy. I recommend the pink tank if you have an original penguin, as you can see through it to see how much juice is left (if you are buying a penguin, get the SE, then that isn't a problem).
When in company I like to vape with very little vapour - so 100% PG, and the 0.6 delivers a bit too much power for that - it doesn't burn, just too strong and harsh - and of course you can only adjust the power and air flow by recoiling. Which I've done, with varying success, using twisted wires. I've ordered some 24 AWG kanthal-ish wire, I'll let you know how that goes. Plan is to buy .25s and when they die, recoil them to my taste for the 100% PG juice. You can only recoil once or twice before the connectors go, but they are pretty cheap.

As this thread is re-born, I need to announce that my final verdict on the Penguin is... NO

I said I'd let you know how it went recoiling with 24 AWG kanthal-ish wire. Answer is that it was easy enough, and with my 100% PG juice, which is what I did it for, the taste is great and the vapour is negligible, as you'd expect. The bad news is that it takes a while to heat up - maybe 2 seconds from cold. Which you get used to, but is not ideal. So what do you put in your pocket djs?
