Joyetech Atopack Penguin.

I'm giving it some thought.

8.8ml tank capacity (not allowed in the EU) and curious JVIC coils that look a pretty tidy bit of design.

Unique in appearance, with smooth curves and clean lines, the ATOPACK Penguin is a modular e-cig modelled on the animal by the same name (no sh**). With a unique airflow and atomizer system, 2ml 8.8ml e-liquid capacity and 2000mAh internal battery, the Joyetech Penguin is ideal for vapers looking for something different without compromising on quality.

The coil life will be the deal-maker; oh... and you need to buy a spare cartridge or two, I guess.

It's cute, but I never saw a red or blue penguin. Can I haz stickers for it... with little eyes and stuff?

I've got one on the way, it looked too interesting not to try and will be useful as a back-up for work and nights out. Fingers crossed it makes its way from China in time for VF.

Not a massive amount cheaper than buying from TW though, not that I would buy anything from them at full price.

The tanks are interchangable, so anyone willing to use TW who didn't want to wait for the mod could get one over here and order a tank or two from China. OOS in the places I looked, but it appears to be less than $5 for the 8.8ml tank with a coil and the right side of $10 for a five pack of coils.

First impressions are positive, it looks cute, feels nice to hold and seems to be performing OK. I'm a fan.

Having spent 24 hours or so in the company of the Penguin I can safely say I don't like it, I love it.

A lot of thought has gone into it and the performance is surprisingly good for something so basic and small. The reviews made it look as though it might be a tad fiddly to fill/fit the coils, but it isn't.

Tank crackers would almost certainly be an issue and you have to remove the pod to check your juice level, but that takes a few seconds.

I probably wouldn't be quite so in love with it were I limited to the 2ml TPD compliant pods, but our friends in China seem perfectly happy for that not to happen. FT charge less than $3 for spare/extra 8.8ml pods and about $7.50 for a five pack of coils, an absolute steal.

Am I going to ditch my trusty DNA200 Rolos and Smok tanks for something so basic? Of course not. But to grab when walking the mutt in the rain, take on nights out or have in my work bag as a backup, it's perfect.

It obviously doesn't do too well with the hobbyist/wanting something to play with side of vaping, but in terms of price, performance and ease of use, it's exactly the sort of thing we should be pointing people looking to quit smoking in the direction of.

I think I need a blue and/or grey Penguin to keep my black one company. As soon as my wallet has recovered from VF it'll happen.

If I understand correctly all the tanks are the 8 ml ones it's just tpd compliant ones have a silicone plug to restrict them to 2 ml, remove said plug and hey presto they are back to 8 ml again, so you don't have to buy the 8 ml tanks from china as they are all the same. Do a search on YouTube there are videos explaining the simple procedure.

As much as she loves her ego aios', her butter fingers + glass tank + the floor aint a good combination.
Any body have a link for the coil packs at FT? I cant seem to find them.

Having looked at the pics Im cautiously optomistic that these might just be rebuildable.
Cant be any harder than the ego aios.
