Now, how did that happen? I accidentally walked into my local vape shop, Cornish Liquids in Penryn, and 15 minutes later walked out with a Pulse mod, Pulse 24 RDA, and a new 20700 battery Before I start building this, I have a few questions, which I hope will be of use for anyone like me who is starting, or contemplating, a career in squonking. Firstly, with regard to the Pulse 24 RDA, which has a nice clutter-free flat build deck. Could I get away with a single coil, fabricated from 06mm 22AWG Kanthal, or does it really need to be dual coiled? Further to this, what resistance should I aim for to be inside the parameters for the battery and mod? Next question - is it viable to remove the 9ml squonk bottle to refill it, or is it worth getting something like the Boxer refill bottle which simply screws into the 510? Next - as the squonk bottle is really flexible, how do I prevent it squonking all over my hand or the mod when i re-insert it after filling? Any hints or tips I could follow to ensure the juice stays in the bottle, rather than elsewhere? Lastly, with average build and vaping, how long will a 20700 battery last compared to a fresh 18650? Many thanks in advance for what I know will be some educated and considered information and opinions. Andy B

I use the normal pulse, single coil version and I'm banned from being any where near anything
The only thing I have found with the pulse rda's is the need to change the wick a lot

Any hints or tips I could follow to ensure the juice stays in the bottle, rather than elsewhere? Take the battery out as well. Gives a bit more room to get the bottle back in. Especially if you have big fingers. Only hold it by the metal cap on the top and gently tease it onto the metal tube. When it's fully pushed on the bottle can be eased into it's correct place. Reinsert battery.

I find these are perfect for getting bottles back in without premature E-sqounkilation. Just grip the tube just above the cap. ForcepsEDIT:I also use mine when i fill, leave the forceps on the tube when screwing cap back on.

I've had better results using Ni80 wire for squonking chykensa . For me the ramp up time is quicker. On the bottle situation, I'd consider changing that for a Mod Maker bottle if possible. They are more forgiving to the touch for removal and filling. Edit: Welcome to the darkside

I've just looked through my meagre supplies of wire and found the following:- Kanthal 22AWG .6mm Ni200 28AWG .32mm SS316 - .45mm Do I need to treat myself to some new wire? Thanks for the welcome BTW!

I'm definitely not a fan either phtumshk as apart from them esquonkilating everywhere as soon as you put a finger on them, they take forever to resume their shape after squonking them in the mod. Again, it is something that is personal preference but good to know there are other options available.

About the only two builds I use for squonking chykensa 0.5mm Ni80 Ni80 juggernaut coil For the wire you have to hand I'd be tempted to try the SS 316 first but would recomend you try Ni80, that was the game changer for me for squonking.

personally idd try 5 wraps of the ss round 3mm bit and see if you can fit it centrally in the pulse if not 2x 7 wraps 3mm id of the ss should get you a decent vape te kanthal will come in to low to use on a single batt mech prob if you duel coil and dont use ni 200 on a mech EVER lol

to the squonking fraternity chykensa . I like the idea of 'accidentally' walking into a vape shop (always looking for new excuses to justify buying vape gear)! If I were using 22AWG Kanthal, I'd go for 3mm 4-5 micro wrap - aiming for around .3ohm. Reminds me I have not used my Kanthal 22AWG for a while - I've been messing around with SS and Nichrome N80 a lot, and recently got into 4 wrap Caterpillar Wire - brilliant flavour and nice and cheap to try out!
