Boge SR Carts

I was going to be putting up a thread today about how short my carts were lasting, yesterday was the worst of all, I cracked open a new one (isn't that a great feeling? ) used the condom method to fill it up but becasue I was in a hurry I over filled it and then kept squishing the bottom of the condom to make sure the cart was soaked. I then blew through it to make sure that I wasn't going to flood the contact plate.

I have done this a few times recently and it only dawned on me yesterday that this is the exact reason why they aren't lasting long. When I say not lasting long I mean 4 hours and it was getting really tight to draw on, no burnt taste just seriously hard to draw on, by this morning I was getting really annoyed with it!

So this morning I sat down and spent a long time filling one up, didn't rush it and made sure that I did not flood the cart and I let it soak in at its own rate. Bloody hell, what a difference, I have just been out for a few hours shopping and the cart is working perfectly. So, moral of the story is, rush a Boge and it seems to get tight really quickly, spend time on a new one and you will days and days of happy vaping.

Sorry if people are reading this thinking "you muppet, of course you must do it that way" but I have only just realised it makes a huge difference to the satisfaction of vaping

I think being ex smokers we expect to just vape and go. A bit forward planning and some patience makes a big difference.

I didn't get on with ecomisers the first time I tried them and I had left it overnight to soak. This time I filled it over 48 hours and it's worked fab.

I also find that it's handy to have a few things on the go as even when topping up it's sometimes a good idea to leave cartos to soak for a bit

I spend a bit of time each evening topping up cartos for the next day. It's nice and therapeutic and they are evenly soaked by morning

great post Tim ...its always worth mentioning from time to time
fill cartos and allow time for them to soak the juice all the way into the filler... i leave mine overnight

I am trying to be good and do it slowly and I am trying hard to think ahead and be organised and not leave things to the last minute because it does make a huge difference.

Excellent post as a noob I'm taking this advice on board especially as I have just invested in some boge carts.
I filled one this evening and am leaving it overnight (Ry4 from vapourjucie uk) I think I may have flooded the middle a bit however.
When you fill them do you drip the juice in on an angle or use a syringe ?
I think I will also investigate this condom method of which you speak !

Just fill em to the fullest.. let em soak a bit...
Then do the following :
1. Get a piece of paper (toilet/kitchen)
2. Put the paper on the larger hole of the cartomizer (the one that you can see the white stuff in).
3. Put the battery connector to your lips
4. Blow (don't suck, BLOW) like there is no tomorrow (ok a bit less is ok)
5. Just to be sure, check against a light source if you can see clearly trough the middle.. If so go to step 6.
6. Screw your cartomizer to your mod, battery 230V outlet (what ever works for you )
7. Vape

The condom method is quite simply using the larger of the two end connectors that come with the Boge packaging, filling it up 2/3 's with your chosen juice and then the all important steps I take:

Put the cart into the condom filled with juice slowly

Make sure the end cap has been remove so you can see the internal polyester and centre hole of cart

push down really slowly until you can see the liquid starting to come out of the centre hole on the cart making sure it doesn't spill out

Leave it to receed down and push down slightly again and repeat the above step slowly until the whole condom is empty

Then drip some more juice onto he polyester (cart at an angle for this) rotating as you do until the cart cannot absorb any more liquid

Leave to stand on a tissue for 5 mins

Blow down the cart gently an wipe any excess away from the bottom

Insert into chosen device

Vape & be happy


*This is my way that works for me, when I rush this process the cart gets tight really quickly so being patient is the key to a long lasting cart
