I bought an SD just incase the LT decides to pack up or I am out and about where some stealth action is required. I just tried an SR cart on it and whilst I'm happy'ish with it I was considering buying LR cart for it. I "was" going to until I read on VapeEscape's site that using LR is at the users own risk, why is this and what does everyone else use? Thanks

Never owned a SD. But seeing as its such a low MAH rating, LR would surely kill the battery in no time.
I read on UKV that there is a 650 mah battery being released in the next month that isnt massively bigger than the current one

I only use SR cartos as Trog (the inventor) advises. I think the current draw of LR will shorten the run time of the battery and ultimately it's life expectancy.

Wonderful, thanks for the heads up Russell & Brian. Like the sound of the 650 when it's released. I'm actually quite impressed with this, I have to say I think it's better than my Riva

I use the pre-filled cartomizers that come with the SD Keyring.
They are 47mm long (including the 510 thread and white mouthpiece) bottom coil and hold about 1.2ml of juice. Trog believes they are standard resistance Kangers.
At a £1 each if you buy 20 they are great value and can be refilled many times !

I have a few metal torches with batteries, and most e cig batteries seem to be encased in metal tubes, so I don't think you need worry too much.

the cartos included with the SDK do work fantastically on them for being quite a high ohms... could be that they are bottom coil design

metal things next to batteries are fine as long as they dont bridge the positive and negative end of the battery ...with the SDK, ego, riva etc the batteries are actually encased so the only way to bridge then is at the connector end. the centre pin being the positive and the screw thread being the negative.
bare batteries however the contacts are exposed at either end of the battery so a set of keys in a pocket could bridge both ends... best to carry these in zip bags, boxes etc

As above the cartos with the SDK are fab and very long lived. Otherwise SR Boges or Kangers are fine. You can use a s low as 2 ohm, but it will empty the battery quicker, any lower and the SDK won't fire (e.g. with an iMist)
