At least its not the image I had in mind when I saw the thread title Perpetua - I really thought it was going to be something much worse At least the pooch didnt destroy anything vital like the steering wheel or the seats

..... Phoned the garage to sort out repair/replacement ( £400-500 is the estimate! ) .... That sounds a lot for a new staffy

You could leave it as is Madge and just consider it a feature

No way! Mandy thats bad naughty pooch Something was amiss I'm convinced of it now Neil . . . . it's so completely out of character, this pup greets everyone that comes to the house like an old friend and if a dust sheet goes down - then she likes nothing better than snuggling up in the middle of it and generally hindering any work that's being done. She won't even touch any food that might accidentally fall on the floor and I can leave treats at her level, which she'll totally ignore until I give them to her. That's just not Pandz...I think something or someone spooked this wee girlie. I'm sorry for your damage Mandy... but I know that she will be forgiven O she has been Gill, once I'd got over the initial shock of seeing my car's roof shredded . . . . . and she's been passing smelly farts like a good un since, by way of an apology. At least its not the image I had in mind when I saw the thread title Perpetua - I really thought it was going to be something much worse At least the pooch didnt destroy anything vital like the steering wheel or the seats That's what I thought, doesn't look too bad now I've tidied everything up - bit holey, but personalised I'm thinking. You could leave it as is Madge and just consider it a feature . . . . . I'm going to keep the munched window catch as a memento Greg!

( I might not be quite so philosophical come bill time mind you. )

I think dagl could join in with Ridge Back vs Nissan, not much conciliation I know. Yes I feel your pain Mandy! I think Jon's remembering a few years ago when one of my dogs kindly chewed through the back wiring loom in my old Vauxhall Signum. I took it up with the car insurance company and they were quite willing to write the car off! As it turned out I got a local company to repair it for £150 or thereabouts. Never mind though it's only stuff that can be replaced x

You are certainly taking it in a far more relaxed manner than I would. And as said earlier, when I first saw that title I had serious concerns. I guess that's part of having a pet. This came to mind

This came to mind I do try not to get into a tizz over stuff that isn't really important Dave . . . . expect the unexpected and all that! Turner & Hooch - loved that film, although the slobber levels would be something I'd have to think about.

... I do try not to get into a tizz over stuff that isn't really important ... ... But ... but ... but... it's THE CAR! ++ We obviously have different opinions about what is important ! Hopefully insurance will be willing to talk to you about it. *fingers crossed*
