Hi guys, Sorry - am guessing this has been asked a billion times before.... The new Pico mods I bought are set up for a 18650 with a sleeve and also for 26650. I've seen the 26550 has a 4200 MaH which I know is pretty high but for a middle of the road, 40w vaper, with 5 mods on the go - am I gonna notice that much of a difference to start investing in other batteries? TIA

You're going to need batteries in the future anyway. They don't last forever.

What decoy said. Probably worth picking up a couple if they are cheap, but they won't be as flexible with your other mods. Extra capacity is always good, extra weight not so much.

Trouble is getting a decent 26650 battery, a lot of them are well over stated on their specs and don't actually perform better then the decent 18650’s out now.

That's true for any battery. So you use a good vendor. Ecolux has a few choices.

I have tried a few different brand cells in 75w DNA's, and they don't rate well. This is probably due to design, as 18650's also perform badly with a sleeve adapter. It seems to me that 75w is just too much from a single cell, and if you need dual cell, 2x26650 is gonna be weighty!
No other experience though.

I got a pair of Basen Blacks from Fogstar (OOS atm) about a year ago for my Vapecige DNA75c. Pretty good imho, the mods got 42000 odd puffs on it now and the batts still last me a good day. Mooches guide link

Mooches guide linkI don't have a single cell DNA75c, but I take that you don't get the "weak battery" message? Which is what I get from the Hcigar VT75.
Incidentally, the mini VT75 (which only takes 18650's) performs better. Maybe I have a duff mod

Anything vaping related is worth getting in my world . . . . that might come as something of a surprise, not!

I just got a Lost Vape Mirage which takes 21700's and it's definitely got a decent bit of vape time in it. I bought the Vapecell 3750mah batteries and they really are lasting a decent time.

I use basen 4500mah from ecolux in my vapedroid dna75. They seem to perform well and the battery life is much better than an 18650

I've just bought a Geekvape Aegis, ghostrider1971 - arrived today but, drat, I accidentally got the one that does not come with the 26550, so am now awaiting one - I got the Aegis for it's durability, rather than the battery, like you I vape around 25 - 45 watts, so I'll be interested to see how the battery life is when it arrives.
