Just checked the car, tyres and aircon. Every tyre on it was the wrong pressure. Somewhere in the boot, was my tyre pump

In other news, Tim phoned me a little earlier and is collecting moi before midday at the latest . . . . we think it took us around 3hours or so last year including a coffee stop, so I guess between 3-4 we'll arrive tomorrow afternoon.

If they did keep the gates shut until a certain time, you can just drive down the road and park up in/by an unused gate or on the road, I would guess.

Somewhere further down the road I seem to remember a one-way road (which would make a huge circular detour).... just watch out for that just in case I didn't dream it.

You could turn around, head back towards town and just park in empty residential parking. I don't think they have specific permits... very few places do.

Or set your Sat Nav for Tesco, Lidl or Aldi (Harlescott) and kill some time.

Picking up the good lady at the top of the morning. Should arrive about 4pm latest. Earlier if the traffic is kind.

Place any missing supply orders in before 10am as I will be shopping en route.
