Would anyone recommend Assassin's Creed 2 on PC? It's currently 75% off on Steam ( store.steampowered.com/sale/ubi_weekend2012), which is tempting ... but I found the first Assassin's Creed a bit boring and repetitive, and I don't fancy wasting my time if the sequel is no better. You'll get your moneys worth with that... I've played em all (except brotherhood).. And I'd say they are quite nice.

I play a lot of games but I frequent guilty gear - the most awesome 2d fighter ever. Also left 4 dead and right now battlefieldplay4free because it's "free". One of many of my gg matches from back in the day I still play retro games like streets of rage or whatever sega games take my fancy. Road rash Lots of old games are still great

I've played all Oblivion games and currently on Skyrim..It's this series I like best for gaming.
Liked Dungeon Siege and sometimes I still play it..All Price Of Persia, almost all COD's, Far Cry and FC2.
Else there is always F1 sims..

It is rather addictive lol although I can't draw to save my life unfortunately I keep getting opponents that just write the word instead of even attempting to draw it irritating much? I know I can't draw but I at least have a go lol

Oh don't get me on games, I can game for England. PS2&3 FPS are my favourites, have been gaming for about 18 years, first started with Tetris original and I still try to beat my last score.
On my shelf I have James Bond 4, Crysis 2, COD everyone, MOH everyone, Fear 1 & 2, Red Faction, Killzone, Resistance, Freedon Fighters, Black . Rachet & Clank, Spyro, Super Mario for my DS, GTA &Daxter for my PSP. MOH and Spyro for my PS1
I play all my games in between playing on line Scrabble which I admit to being addicted to.
Gaming gives me so much fun and excitement, can't wait till the next wave of new games come out. If I like the games I will keep them, others I play and then sell if there is no replay value in them.
I am a member on all the forums and have made lots of friends.

Hubby's the major gamer in the family, but I'm currently playing Avernum (an old game revamped). Spellforce, Disciples, Dungeon Siege, Might & Magic. I don't like many modern games Steam is our best friend

Macca- I like the Elder scrolls games too, although I've only played Marrowind and Oblivion, I will sit down to Skyrim at some point.
Beeratz- I only usually play people I actually know for that reason, too many people want to write the word, I mean, what's the point? Am I missing something? I don't mind people writing a little clue, something not too revealing, but really annoys me when they write the whole word every time.

I liked Assassin's Creed 2, it's quite a bit better than 1, but basically very similar, as are the following titles. Ezio is a better protagonist than Altair, Florence is a better setting, and the story is better written, which is why Ezio lasted 3 episodes. Looking forward to the next one in Revolutionary America.
Currently playing Witcher 2 Enhanced, but I've played Skyrim and Mass Effect 3 recently. ME2 was better than 3, and probably my favourite game from the modern era.
Next up is probably Max Payne 3. I normally don't like linear shooters but Max is the exception.

I don't like many modern games Steam is our best friend If you like older games, have you checked out this place? www.gog.com/Loads of old games, usually quite cheap, remastered to be compatible with current OS's, and DRM-free.
