Anyone been following the Shenanigans involving vaping groups on Facebook ? Yes, I know it's Facebook, but that is only the start. Today google have removed several vaping apps from the Playstore with the promise of more to follow. Likewise, Google have given an indication that in future, all searches for vaping equipment and vendors will come up with zero. Sad world when as a vaper you feel you have to run and hide for doing nothing wrong. Wonder how many pockets were lined with silver for this one.

Seems a bit nuts, Google PlayStore is full of weed related apps and as for Google search i can't see why they would blacklist results for vaping over any other adult content.

It's probably down to the politicising of vaping in the good ol' USofA and how vaping (especially anything that's produced outside of said territory, so 99% of hardware, for instance) is stopping those nice tobacco companies making huge amounts of money that will pay MSA sums to the states to stop them going bankrupt, and also tangoman's trade war with china contributing too.... Hasn't smoking always been about the money??? p.s. there are many other search engines available, I use Quant and duckduckgo for a more privacy-focussed search experience, i.e. with no tracking

Absolute madness that something which has the potential to save millions of lives around the world, has got to this stage of being so demonised!
I guess money talks louder than life saving.
And as for Facebook, well they're happy enough to promote this advertising twaddle.

I watched a thing earlier today where it's saying about 40 American states are in debt to tobacco companies. Apparently they did a deal where the tobacco people paid them x amount per year to get rid of any law suits etc.
A few of the state's borrowed a lot based on theoretical future income but then vaping came along and screwed that up.
So it's in their interests that people continue to smoke.
Hence why weed is fine, people smoke it with tobacco.

Isn't that the point? Opposite to us, many states in the usa rely on the tobacco levy to fund a big part of their budget. That money would have to be replaced. It's a dilemma they are going to have to address sooner or later. Looks like later. However, they are not the only country making vaping more difficult, or even illegal. There's some heavy money flying about. Look at the initial opposition here. Look at the stance of the WHO, a deeply corrupt organisation funded by you. Fortunately, we have a free (ish) society and many important voices kept the pressure up. Still have to suffer the TPD though. That's what we should be focusing on.
