Hi Chrissy at present this is just your basic rundown 14500 and tbh i always thought aslong as you put protected batts into the mod then you will be fine.Im being as honest as i can and with the vv mods i do there will be safty added.Just with basic 1 batt 14500s i didnt think this would be an issue if you use protected 14500s

If you want me to take this down then its no problem at all as i dont wanna break any rules.

As most of the 14500 mods ive brought have all been the same as mine.

Just very concerned that for starters it looks more like a drug delivery device & secondly that from your posts on UKV you aren't really sure what you are doing

I was thinking it looked a lot like a device used for smoking dope as opposed to vaping e-juice. Not sure how someone would explain it a way if they were pulled by the Police lol.

Hiya bud I know that this what I am going to show you will put your price up on your mods but have you see this www.ecigwizard.com/shop/en/accessories/452-the-2-cents-vape-safe.html it goes in line with your battery. I would however only insert it after you have finished your mod and fully tested it as once it blows you have to replace it which is a pain in the bum I know. Alternativally you can offer this add-on as an extra as if you mod has been fully tested and working and you are happy to release it to the public then all is OK and as I said this little protection unit can be offered as an optional extra then it is up to the consumer what he/she wants to do.

The 2 Cents Vape Safe:

Lithium ion batteries, while generally described as "safe," have been known to vent hot gases and in some cases, explode.

The primary cause of a venting battery is a hard short. The Vape Safe is a mechanical fuse that is activated if it senses a short in the mod by shutting down the battery. The Vape Safe can also help protect variable voltage circuits, hot springs and other circuitry inside your mod that can be damaged in the case of a hard short.

● Protects against hard shorts in 3.7V single battery devices as well as 6V-7.4V stacked battery devices. Should fit in nearly any 16/18 series battery mod

If the Vape Safe Protection Circuit is triggered your mod will cease to operate. Once a fuse has blown it is no longer operational and the Vape Safe will then need to be replaced.



Does The Vape Safe make a Mod Absolutely, 100% Safe? The answer is no. No one safety feature alone can guarantee the battery will not fail thermally. When properly used, the Vape Safe can help to prevent potential thermal reaction from occurring in lithium ion batteries. It does not mean "absolutely safe," but in most situations the Vape Safe fuse will stop a hard short, and it does provide a measure of safety when used with lithium ion cells. When used in combination with mods that already have safety features built in, you are exponentially increasing the likelihood that thermal battery failure will not occur.
