Hi Ripple I'm new to all this toooo! I think it's going to take a while to take everything in, there's so much to think about. I'm not putting any pressure on myself the way I see it is every nasty I don't have is a blessing and helps to pay for the kit I bought, one day at a a time How easy have you found actually getting to grips with the kit etc? well done by the way.

A cut off is a safety feature built in to a lot of devices. What it does is after a set time it will turn off the power coming front the battery. This is to protect the person from taking too deep a breath & to prevent accidental operation of the device. If it is a push button operated one & its in your pocket, you would not want it continuously heating the atty if the button was accidentally pressed.

Wonder how the shops are coping with all these people packing in the ciggys?? I smoked tobacco so it wasn't that expensive. I'm saving money though as I'm not popping into Sainsburys a few times a week as I would never just buy tobacco

Hi Ripple How easy have you found actually getting to grips with the kit etc? well done by the way. I bought the Skycig kit..simple to use slight concerns over charging it though, kinda mistrust it at the moment not sure if it's doing what it says on the tin lol! suits me at the moment but I think I might go for a stronger cart.. regular is fine through the day but mornings are a struggle.

Has anyone noticed that on ebay they have lots of people selling aids to quit smoking l wonder if those same people are on e cigs or just quit total? Don't worry l do silly things like this spose cus my life is so quiet, l have even started doing jigsaws in an attempt to quit but before you all start rolling around laughing it helped me half the habit but that's as much as it can do.

You do still find some listings for ecig ephemera popping up on Ebay Ripple, but it's still completely against their policy on them. So any seller who's reported is very likely to not only have their listings pulled, but to lose their account as well. And, it won't be anywhere near so difficult as you possibly think it is to get to grips with e-smoking, once Batty & I have finished with you . . . you'll be a guru in no time. It's so much easier to have someone explain in the flesh and demo them, whilst all the info on the net is invaluable as a resource, it can also be a bit mind boggling.

I agree with you 100% perpetua... I only confused myself with all the info on all the products out there..(mind you it's not hard to confuse me..lol!) In the end I thought long and hard about my lifesyle and what I thought I would need.. and then how much I was willing to spend... then took the plunge! Not really any regrets so far... let's see what tomorrow brings...onwards and upwards as they say

I always say, that if a non technical Fag Ash Lil like me, can get to grips with using and enjoying ecigs over tobacco cigs, then anyone can. I smoked with a passion and avoided anything that required even a minute degree of technical competence like the plague. So miracles can and do happen.

Morning, waiting on the postie to deliver some nice parcels, all I have left is a some coffee juice which tastes like burnt cartos to me :-[
Getting twitchy like when (as a smoker) you run out of ciggies.
