Ah, yes, karma linked to those earlier in the thread, but I wasn't sure if they were 18350s, since it doesn't explicitly say so. (And I'm still at the sheepish newbie stage where if it doesn't explicitly say that it is X then I'm not at all confident that it is X ).

I'm considering this battery holder with built-in PCM for a box mod, which I think should be sufficient in terms of protection, but I may still add a heat triggered resettable fuse to the VV circuit.

It does, on the battery when you get them, in very small writing, say 18350! 4 fit perfectly in a Battery box designed for 2 18650s I presume that if they are sold as safe to use with the SD then they are safe to use with another mod that doesn't have it's own protection! and they're a good price at the moment

They are discontinued as TW are stopping selling all their ScrewDriver stuff. If you fancy a SD, now is the time to buy, full kit £35 I'm sure Trog will still sell them on his own website

www.cavecom.com/screwdriverSD/index.shtmltrogs website, i think ??? The batteries on there however say that they only fir the MK1 SD not the MK2! However, you want batteries for the Argento and the 18350s that I got with the Argento are slightly bigger than the 18350s that I got from TW. However, both fit the Argento Crikey, why does this vaping lark have to be so complicated? Perhaps you would like to ask Trog himself, you'll find him hanging out here, he he ukvapers.com/

Right, I've got my hotspring in my mini-argento, and I've just picked up my 18350s (the screwdriver ones from TW) from the post office. My only remaining questions are: how long for the initial charge, and how long for subsequent charges? (Do I ignore the light on the charger, as some people seem to suggest, and always give it a fixed amount of time, or can I rely on the charger to let me know when they're ready? It's a screwdriver charger, by the way.)

The charger will tell you when they are charged, 18350s should take about a couple of hours to charge. Initial charge isn't important with this type of battery, They have no memory and do not require any conditioning. Their performance will increase after 2 or 3 charges in normal use.
