From the start I've tried to keep this forum as simple as possible ie as few "boards" sub forums as possible. Mainly due to the fact that many of you joined us via our original All About E-cigarette eBay group & were used to that simple format. But please come & tell me if you would prefer to see changes & if so what? Would love to hear what you all think

Chrissie, whilst I have nothing against the format of the forum I do think that having separate boards can make things easier, especially for those new (or old) to the forum looking for specific information. I don't think it needs to be complex though. Perhaps within the general forum, a troubleshooting area, shopping (for all the latest bargains and reviews), a board for the legal wranglings, introduction area (which could include the 'how to' guides) and the lovely chit chat area. That said, if nothing changed at all, it wouldn't be a bad thing Just adding my two pennorth x

Thanks (((Jaki)))) - I agree 100% with everything you have said I started the forum with several separate boards but changed it to mainly one board, (slowly tried adding a couple more) due to requests from members at the time preferring to see everything in one place. But maybe it's time to move on? Or on the other hand to remain different from other forums & keep things as simple as possible? Come on folks, please let me know - many of us go back to October 2008 & that's a long time in the vaping community Want to hear from newer members & any guests as well

The format of this forum is far more in line with the general run of forums all over the internet than eBay Groups boards are. It may be that those who were brought up on eBay, and didn't find it necessary to join up with like-minded souls outside its warm environs with all its varied topics, find it difficult to adjust to this type of board. The only problem I find is that it is slow and can be a drag to catch up on if there are quite a few new posts, but that's down to the ProBoards' resources, or lack of, available to non-paying users. I feel that we have a value in that we are not associated with vested interests, and that we should poddle along and "be here" for those who would be lost or intimidated on ECF, whom we would never wish to rival ... for those who need to ask really silly questions and forget the answers so need to ask again etc etc. Jaki's suggestions for "layout" are really sensible, IMO, but a major feature of the eBay board was its indiscipline, and that was part of its charm and friendliness. Straddling the fence, as usual scylla x

Hi All - popped in in response to email. My problem is - there as so many posts I have to catch up on at the moment ('cos I'm not so regular (not my bowels!!) these days). Then, when I come back to read one I responded to, unless I have written the title down, I can't find it again!!! You will probably tell me I can find out where my last post is/was quite easily!!! Back later - if I can find my way!! MM

For me this way is good. I get confused easily but if changed I may work out where things are and may find out how to do things. If you dont see me after changes it'll be cos I dont undersand and havent learnt.

MM, to find your own posts, click on your user name above your avatar ( or click on "Profile" at the top of every page). On your profile page, scroll down to "recent activity" click on the links showing your most recent posts & it will take you to the last places you posted.
Thanks for the feedback Tim.

I suppose you could tart the forum up with a few new categories - traders; hardware; juice; chat etc., etc., but it's really fine as it is for now. Now the PB servers seem to be working well again, the forum loads quickly even with my hit and miss connection speed (Proboards have no paying members incidentally; the only charges are to keep the boards ad-free). V.5 should be out in the not too distant future and there will be more helpful features such as 'new posts since last visit' etc. I can generally find my previous posts from my profile page. It might be helpful, Chrissie, to allow us access to the last, say, 50 posts as opposed to the last 10 (bottom of main page); I always use these to catch up. Fox
