Hi yesterday I finished a pack of nasties. Took me 10 days. Had 2 a day. Didn't enjoy them though so not gonna open another pack. I think I can do it as have managed every day without the other 13 . OH said keep them in the cupboard so you know they are there but you don't have to have them. Part of my problem has always been making sure I knew they were there. When I have given up before if I didnt have any in the cupboard that's when I wanted one no matter how well I had done not smoking. So.... Trying for none today. Already NOT had my early morning one and feel fine about that

Good luck Beauty . . . although don't beat yourself up, if you do have the odd ciggie. I kept my last opened pack of cigs in the cupboard for almost 2 years until I felt ' secure ' enough to ditch them. Infact I gave them to the Plumber who came to mend my central heating as he'd run out and I couldn't bear to just bin them, they were probably well dried out and tasteless, but he didn't seem to mind. Still billed me for the work though.

Well done BC. I found that once I didtched the first thing in the morning ciggie it was plain sailing. I felt that I'd started the day as a non smoker so it was easier to not smoke for the rest of the day. Before I knew it 1 day was 1 week, then 1 month. I still have tobacco in the drawer and hubby smokes, doesn't bother me, vaping is better

I used to roll, and still had a bit left when my first ecig arrived. Started alternating for a few days but found I was only enjoying the first drag or two. Finished that packet and apart from the odd niggle I haven't felt any need since. Going on three months now - I consider myself an official non smoker.

Since the day my e-cig turned up I have not looked back but like you I had to have baccy in the house. The first day that I beat the lure of the baccy tin felt like I had been set free, an amazing smug feeling Here's wishing that you find the strength to beat the evil lure of the nasties Good Luck
