Less than 2 squids last ages .. I do find that they dissipate better in your pg/vg mix if you add a few drops of vodka , or just dissolve them in vodka and add to your mix . The better vodka also i.e. smirnoff IMO

GG is a golden greek and SD is a screwdriver . The SD is probably one of the earliest mods made by trog an excellent solid pv . As for the GG I don't know much about them , Chrissie seemed to have hers stuck to her hand when we met her so didn't get much of a chance to see it

Thanks for clearing up the abbreviations storm. Just had a look @ the SD on totally wicked and think it's time to buy my first mod. I have been following the mini argento thread on here and it seems to get great reviews but so does the SD. So which one to go for? Is it personal preference or does one do more than 'tother?. Is it worth putting up a wanted in the classifieds?

Have you any preference as to where you think you might find the activation button more comfortable to use MMF . . . that may help you make a decision.

Additionally, with the Screwdriver, you'll also want a 901 to 510 adapter as it's 901 threaded, whereas the Argento is a 510/Ego thread.

It's personal preference really , I was lucky enough to be given my SD MKI , I use it occasionally , in honesty rarely since I got my LT's (lavatubes but I think you knew that one ) I also have an SDMKII which sits in it's box after being used a few times , but I think you get attatched to some pv's .

I would suggest you sit and think about buying a new mod until you are really sure as to what you want , there are some really fantastic mods out there , but I think you should do your homework ( unlike the ninja shoppers ) before you commit

Frosty, i have the argento and a SD. I like the position of the argento button but i'm not sure how long it'l last as the button always seems a bit loose Also there is no way to lock the button

The SD is shinier the button is on the bottom so does take a bit of getting used to but it comes with a cap that you can attach with a small lanyard to cover the button so it won't accidentally go off. TW are also selling replacement switches and caps very cheaply, so worth buying if you do get the SD.

Performance there isn't much in it but many people have owned SDs for years now and they still work. The Argento may last for years, but who knows

I don't regret buying either, but £30 for an SD is a fab price as that includes batteries and a charger and some juice

I rest my case ........ Frosty take your time consider all the options and don't do ninja tactics , ninja can cost a fortune , I would also mention that perusing vaping (shiny) websites whilst merry (drunk) is not good either . Drunken ninjas probably have the worst hangovers in the world ever ,

Chrissie, you are a diamond. I feel like I should be paying a membership fee to be part of this forum. So many decent people willing to help total strangers.

Having a slightly better day today, managed to keep busy. I dug out a very old "cig-a-like" I purchased last year and it came with 10ml of "mojo gold & silver" which I have been vaping in a old V1 clearo. I still can't stand the smell of the RY4, it's been steeping for 4 days now

Chrissie, I have no idea what a GG or a SD is but I fancy a go

Maybe we should try to organize a Cornish mini meet so I can thank people face to face and try out these abbreviated wonders.

BTW, I can not recommend storm's diy RY4 highly enough. I am still too new to give a review but if I was told that I could only choose 1 juice for the rest of my vaping days, that would be it.

I just didn't want you to be stuck without anything working properly on a Sunday. I mainly use my GGTS all of the time, but have a couple of other GG's, a Mark I SD & a Riva, as well as always having a good stock of cartos & juice.
