The scimitar's top speed is around 120, so it's not that fast.

Back in the 80's a couple of guys who lived near me used to run a supercharged scimitar, that thing was really really fast. I'm not sure what else they did to it, but it went like crap of a shovel. They cut into the bonnet IIRC to allow the SC to protrude. I'm sure that sort of thing is now looked down upon in classic car circles I never wanted a Karmann Ghia, always thought it was a bit of a girls car tbh

I have to say i was quite a petrol head,
Not so much now as hardly get the time - my pride and joy was my white RX7 - i had quite a bit of work done to it, I have the 8 now and miss those two turbos badly !

Lovely car, always wanted one of those That or a Karmann Ghia I'm with you on the Karmann, would like to have one but drop the 2.2 flat 4 from a bus into it. Think a few owners have dropped the Subaru flat 4 in them for some modern day power and added equal length headers so that it doesn't sound like a Scooby

I love the RX7 but not keen on the 8............the only thing I like about scoobies IS the sound of them, I love that low burble.

Having had many cars, I will never rubbish a car untill I have owned it and had to live with it for a while. I will say that I dont like the look of them, or when I drove one I didnt like this about it. Cars are a little bit like e juice, everyone has a different taste

Cars are a little bit like e juice, everyone has a different taste I can accept what you are saying, so lets say I probably wouldn't buy a scooby because they don't appeal to me ( excpet for the sound) I also would never rubbish a car, the lad at work loves and enjoys his corsa as much as I do my mr2...............I would never want a Corsa, each to his own. I respect that.

That was not aimed at you Malibu, it was me just saying in general. There have been cars I have drooled over, and then when I got to drive them it was such a let down. Like the original Porche Carrera, I loved it untill I drove it around Cambridge, you could feel every single cobble on the street, I am sure that the pennt I drove over was heads up lol

Hubby's mr2 feels like that, my teeth chatter ! He got rid of the coilovers but still not as comfy as mine. I've always wanted a Supra, I've never been in one, I love the shape I like curvy I also loved my Cortina mk3 2000E ( coke bottle shape)
