has anyone with asthma used e-cigs?
I need your input please because, on wednesday, along side my normal lite ciggies, about 7 a day instead of 20 a day, I started using e-cigs, used them for 3 days, about 7 times a day but then my asthma kicked in
on friday evening, I stopped using the e-cigs because friday evening, all day saturday and saturday night, my asthma got steadily worse and I am now very poorly and don`t know if the e-cigs had any part to play

My friend who is asthmatic uses an ecig with no problems Joan, although our Hissie on the forum, again asthmatic - finds that PG based eliquid causes it to flare up.
You might find switching to a VG juice would help you as well?

You might find switching to a VG juice would help you as well? One of the fellas where I work has asthma and he found that the VG was causing him the grief, another has very bad asthma but the vaping has no affect on him at all. I think you are going to have to play about with the vg and pg ratios and find out which one is causing you the problems as different things affect different people in different ways

(((Joan))) sorry to hear you are poorly E-liquids are based on either PG (Propylene Glycol) & VG (Vegetable Glycerine) & usually a mixture of both. However, several of our suppliers give you a choice of either mainly PG or VG.

Is there any way of knowing whether the pre filled carts that come with the standard rechargeable e-cigs are a PG, VG or a mix as I think thats what Joan has been using.

I may be wrong, but I should think that the prefilled carts will most probably be 70% PG 30% VG as that tends to be the most commonest mix of e-liquid.

Thanks Chrissie, I just wondered if it was one or the other so that it might be easier to determine which might be causing problems for Joan...
