Yes, I've beed reading the XDA Developers forum and they're quoting industry insider information at how well the 16GB version is selling, far out-stripping demand.

On a worrying note there does seem to be a large number of people that have been experiencing the screen seperation/lifting problem. It'll be the first thing I look at when I get mine on Wednesday

Haven't had that problem myself Des, neither has my friend . . . as yet anyway.

The only slightly irksome thing is the camera is just forward facing and it didn't come with an app for it, but there's a download . . .

I'm glad to say that mine seems to be problem free as well
That camera app was one of my first installs

I haven't tried it yet for doing videos and i'm hoping I can use it for Skype.
I recently got a rebuildable atomiser from Vapourhut so will try filming the review on it.

Have you managed to get Flash working on it, to watch BBC Iplayer etc? if not I can help you with that if you like?

I've also managed to get mine configured for Virgin Mail, the auto setup did not work and I did mine manually.

I am just waiting for a mini to micro USB adapter so I can plug in my keyboard case that I got for it as well. Then I can use it like a mini lappy when Kathy comes round and hogs my laptop

A bluetooth keyboard would be much better to connect with. I've also been able to SMS from the tablet (using my phone) - and it can handle calls too - pretty neat app called Tablet Talk - will only work on Android phones though.

What did you spend your £15 Google vouchers on?

Good news Des about your screen . . . haven't tried tinkering with the Flash setting yet, must admit, so any help gratefully received.

Yep, mines the 16GB and I'm pretty certain Des's is as well Peekay.

So far I've bought Tapatalk & Proboards Mobile app with my 15 squid.

I was looking at this case/keyboard on Ebay and thinking it should be ok?

It looks like it *should* work - the USB connector needs an adapter (which they say comes with the item), however it's not actually designed for the N7, so you takes your chances.

Incidentally, I've had no screen issues either, but even if I did, I'd crack the device open and tighten the screws - that's all that's need to fix that 'problem'.

Yup I got the 16GB as well

Perps that is the keyboard I got, I bought it off of Amazon though as it's cheaper on there, however it came with a mini usb plug on it not a micro one. I did order a mini to micro USB adapter as well, but it does not work, I opened it and only 2 pins were connected, it will charge but no data connection. So I have ordered another adapter after checking it is fully connected first!

OK to watch IPlayer see the post HERE. I did this to get Iplayer working.

Quite enjoying the N7 - it's nicer to hold than an iPad when reading, as it does not strain the wrist as much. Have a couple of issues with Jellybean, but that's nothing that can't be sorted with an update or app.

All in all, a decent piece of kit that will keep me busy for ages (especially as I've rooted mine).

Peekay, can you answer a "noob" question re rooting. If root and unlock but do a backup before when I restore the backup will root still be there?

I was going to use this suite of programs to do it.
