Hi All Just by chance i stumbled on this website and i am glad i did. I bought e-lites but found the cartridge doesn't last long at all, and spending £20 for 5 cartridges can become expensive. From what i have seen, many people have avoided e-lites. Can someone recommend an alternative to elites please. I have a budget of £60 to start with, as i really want to get off real ciggies. Would like the option to have flavored smoke or is it called vapor? Plus option to refill, which e-lites do not provide. A most cost effective option, in the long run would be nice. If anyone can help or advise, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for all your help. Sorry forgot to mention, is it possible to get a option which looks like ciggy? if not then its no big deal, just want something good, at the end of the day. Jit

I tend to prefer using tanks or clearomisers. Filling them up with liquid costs alot less and the flavour tends to be much stronger. Hope this helped

Hello & welcome Jit You can actually refill your e-lite cartomisers with any e-liquid, so don't throw them away As for recommending a new e-cig for you, if you don't mind something more the size of a cigar then this starter kit is brilliant - use discount code allabout for 10% off - www.vapeescape.co.uk/the-riva-110....eginners%5D~151You will also need to buy some e-liquid & the vendor in the above link sells sample bottles.

Hi Jitesh, Welcome to the forum, you have come to the right place for some good sound advise and help. I’m unable to help you too much myself as I’m new to the forum myself. However I have just purchased this model below, and I’m quite pleased with it. it seems to meet all your requirements’, i.e. budget and being able to switch your flavours’ etc I’m sure others will offer much more help than I can Best of luck www.ecigwizard.com/shop/en/imist/393-olympian-imist-starter-kit.html

A good cheap setup is 1100mah Ego T battery and a ce4 cartomiser. You can fill it up with any liquid you buy

Hello and #welcome2# from me too that starter kit that Chrissie linked to really is the best/best value starter kit around at the moment. Jason put it together after consulting people on this forum! It gives you the chance to try both cartomisers and visions It is a bit bigger than a ciggie but you'll be surprised at how soon you get used to the size and because it's bigger the battery will last a lot longer than your e-lites one

Hi Jit, and welcome to the forum As Chrissie said, the Riva or eGo batteries are great. That's what I bought to begin with, and am still happily vaping with them now, 6 months on

Hi Chrissie, does that mean i should keep my e-lites and just buy e-liquid? as i a kit comprising of 2 batteries, 2 chargers, case etc I thought i would have to buy a cartridge each time, had no idea i could top it up, got no idea how to do that lol

You can refill them, I use to pop the top cap of with a hair clip lol then fill it up. Try not to get liquid in the middle bit though

had no idea i could top it up, got no idea how to do that lol Jitesh on the top of the carto is a white plug with a hole in the middle. Use a paperclip or the prong of a fork to pop this off. Inside there is a centre tube surrounded by white wadding. There may be another plastic 'polo' sitting on top of it, if so lift that out too. Once you have done this you drip e-liquid onto the wadding a couple of drops at a time and let it soak in. You would get about 15 drops in. Make sure none of the liquid goes down the centre hole. Then put the caps back on and you're good to go
