I'm trying to stay calm. I'm not overly concerned since all this ban business was supposed to have happened in September & we're now into October. The proposed legislation we've been waiting for was from the MHRA that would have taken all nicotine products, with the exception of tobacco, under the umbrella term 'medicinal.' This latest proposed legislation is from the WHO and the EU who propose to ban all sales of 'non' medicinal,' unlicensed nicotine and associated paraphernalia that will be considered 'tobacco products.' They propose to introduce a ban on all cross-border sales of 'tobacco products,' and the use of the postal system to transport them. They will also be subject to heavy taxation and a restriction on ingredients in 'tobacco products.' All will have to comply with the same labelling, ie/text + images as the EU wishes regulation of tobacco to be uniform throughout the member countries, which is not the case at present. The consultation period ends in November. Fox

The way the world is going at the moment, these authorities may find they have more to worry about than vaping

Hi all Haven't posted or even lurked for a while and all my e-cig paraphernalia is languishing in a cupboard! Recently accepted voluntary redundancy - my choice but still a bit stressful, mum (almost 93) been unwell and dog has been in big plastic collar since 1 July with demadex mites - driving us all mad!! So, as I hadn't really got into vaping properly it just didn't do it for me and the old cigarettes have taken a beating. However, I do intend to try again, and the latest news is a real blow. My query is, if I bulk buy e-juice, what is the best way to store it, and how long would it keep? cheers Gilly

Hi Gilly, if you do stock up,your liquid should be in a cool dark place,Amber glass bottles filled to the top as far as possible is best. It'll keep anything between 18 months - 2 years, possibly more but no-one knows for sure.Atties i stocked based on 1 lasting 2 weeks and look to buying something that takes 3.7v 'chinese' batteries if you haven't got one.Icon,GG,Nicstick,Screwdriver etc.
Just keep an eye on the news.

I think, in the end, that E-cigs won't entirely disappear. The concept is too good for that! I believe that they will be reincarnated by Big Pharm or Big Tobacco sometime soon. I plan on stocking up on atties more than anything else. They seem to be the weakest link in the vaping chain.. If you don't already have one then buy a 'mod' of some sort.. Lynda

I would say again as I have said before that I don't think there is any need of immediate panic in regard to stocking up too much stuff especially if you don't have the brass to do it.
The wheels of governments and bans turn slowly and in the worse case scenario there will be plenty of bargains out there as suppliers will want to off load their stock quickly.
Just my thoughts of course but --- DON'T PANIC.
Ken.

Looks as though I'm going to have to buy about 20 batteries and 20 chargers as I seem to be getting through chargers more than anything else! Every time a charger goes AWOL it kills one of may batteries too! Booger ................

Dee, that doesn't sound right, I don't use generic e-cigs any more, but never had any problems with the chargers in the past. Please come & tell us more about what's going on.

Agrees with Chrissie, tell us all about it, Dee I did have one 901 mains charger and one USB PC charger die on me, but that's over a long period. I've only used the mod batteries for a long time. scylla

I've broken my Garry Dibley Passthru :-( Well not me really, it was Josh sitting on it. I had a heavy brass 510 adapter on it & I think that didn't help. Ordered a new one & hopefully it's arriving today.

It did turn up yesterday No Scylla, Josh didn't activate the button, thank goodness, as I always turn the power supply off when I leave it unattended. Yes it was one of Imeo's adapters. My favourite atty with the GD PT is still a standard 901.
