I hope Lisa comes back - I always found her posts informative.
I've only had one order with Cloud 9, but the products and service were excellent.
As an Ebay seller myself I know how difficult it is to pitch the postage costs correctly, especially with multiple purchases and international sales. I once lost TRS for a month because one buyer felt that 80 pence was excessive for P&P (3 items combined, sent 1st class large letter + jiffy etc). It cost me £40 in lost discounts for that month.

I do feel sorry for eBay sellers who are the victims of "bad" buyers, there's nothing much they can do about it these days. Also, when the star ratings first came in I thought that 4 stars was a good rating for an averagely decent transaction, and that I should reserve 5 stars for especially good transactions - but 4 stars is actually a poor rating, according to eBay So now I give 5 unless something's gone wrong due to seller non-performance. scylla

I could write a small novel on the things Ebay have done wrong from a sellers pov Scylla. I've just had a FB reminder come through on a amicable mutual cancellation with a seller - the DSR's they've given as an example are hideous and any decent seller would hang their head in shame to have them - let alone the damage it would do to their account. Yet, Ebay see these as a fitting scoring example.

How many more do you need Scylla? I haven't got anything on atm - it's on my to do list for the Autumn crafting customers - but I could very easily pop on a ball of yarn for you.

In the mid 1970s I often used to sit up all night with a bottle of Scotch and some crepe paper, gutta percha and wire, making paper roses as taught me by a dear neighbour. That is the sum of my crafting skill Oh, I did stitch a sleeping bag liner for my brother once, but there's no space here now to get my sewing machine out. scylla

I too would like to see Lisa back. Her presence here was an asset to our forum.
I am still very cross at the full frontal criticism that was issued here that made her leave.
It was not a generalised comment in criticism - as I have done, for example, criticising both TW and LF for never replying to my emails or phone calls for example. But when posting my opinions, I was careful and 'tempered' my comments by saying that I appreciated that others hadn't necessarily had the same experience.
Whilst every individual has the right to feel umbrage if they feel they have been wrongly serviced/charged etc., I do not feel they have the right to post their grievances in such a way that the 'supplier' feels the need to depart from our group.
Our forum greatly benefits from having them here in my opinion. I gain confidence from the fact they are here and willing to respond to our questions and queries about products that most of us have no understanding of.

James - that does mean that you are not allowed to go anywhere! If some tizwoz comes here and upsets you - let me know - I'll set the dogs on them! Okay, one will gum him/her to death, and the other will just cover them in fur - but you get my meaning. But meanhile Mister - go check your emails! My last order arrived - and as usual, the inclusion of an extra - gingerbread juice (how lovely is that? ) But.......... you forgot my blue stuff. Tutt . you just can't get the staff these days! >>>>>>
