I'm still using the same LR510 on my SD MKII with no issues, however, I don't use my SD MKII as much as my Riva so maybe that's why they are proving to last ok.

perpy the others were 901s.
the last is not actually dead, but its that weak its nearly a fortnight

I've been puzzled since reading about your adapter possibly causing a short, Raggy. I thought that adapters were simply bits of metal with one screw-threading on one end and a different one on the other ???

I just don't understand how they could cause probs.

thats what im thinking, it has only been this batch, that said i had only used 2 510s which came with the adapter from tecc.
none of these attys have popped or anything they just stop!!!!!.
is anyone else using them via an adapter.

I will be requiring new Riva batts and a new charger at least. Probs get more regular 510 atties.

It's not worth taking the risk is it Hissie, even if I got the order before Crimbo, there's getting the goodies to everyone.
