I'd go for the brass one, Raggy, i've asked Cam if possible, can i have that one, it looks beautiful, and no plating to worry about... re batteries, the 14500's are okay, but i'm loving my 17670's in it, they seem to last forever....ok, the AW's are more expensive, but the knowledgeable peeps on ECF reckon they're the best choice for the GGTB and for what it's worth, i'd agree... i got mine from here... www.ledfiretorches.co.uk/aw-17670-rechargeable-lithium-batteries.html

Yes, those were the batts/charger I was thinking of Raggy and they fit the GGTB . . . although Lilac's 17670's are worth serious consideration . . . they'll fit the TR-001 charger as well . . . the China equivalents which I bought are very variable in size, causing problems with GGTB and charger fit.

I'm sure you'll be delighted Raggy, love my GGTB's . . . the locking button is an especially big plus I think.

Raggy, I have the brass GGTB. It's a pretty thing and easy to keep shiny, although quite a bit heavier than an aluminium one might be; I quite like the extra weight. It works wonderfully with my old 14500 batteries and an lr901 attie. Well, it will once I get round to un-jamming the 17670 which I managed to get stuck. It's a lovely simple piece of equipment that does what it says it will do. I hope you enjoy it.... Lynda
