Yes it was just a little acorn when I first joined Scylla. Lilac, when you look at the home page it shows just how GINORMOUS it is. Then of course, within many of the sub-forums, there are sub-sub forums. www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/46,857 members, 118,094 threads & 2,012,221 posts

Hi guys, long time from my last post here. Huge work and sometimes I cant fololow even ecf's posts, really sorry.
Ok, about the spring that GGTB has. If you see that spring is long and the cap doesnt close completely then you can cut 1 thread of the spring. And please put the false battery from the side that is totally flat so it cant grab the spring.
I have already made new springs to fit different sizes of batteries. I did that because I shaw that some cr123 batteries are 33,5mm and others are 36mm. So if you put 2xcr123 batteries the total difference is 5mm! New spring can take those batteries too and cap will totally close because this new spring can take this big difference
If you want to order this new spring then you can ask my sellers for this. They will send you one for free and you pay ony their shipping cost. I will tell them to send those springs unregistered so your cost will be almost nothing.
Price of GGTB will stay at 49,5 euros including the false battery and including the different options like nickel-plated, mat, shiny, gold etc.

Thank you for that Imeo, will drop Cam a mail - very generous of you to make the offer I think. I love my GGTB, for someone not very technical it suits me a treat, I know it's been suggested on the GG Forum, but any plans in the pipeline to make a big sister version that takes 18650 batteries?

Perpy, are you enquiring about 18650 batteries because you want more (1) oomph, or (2) longevity? scylla

More from the longevity aspect Scylla as the oomph factor is pretty good with a LR atty, 14500's do need quite frequent charging with the amount I use the GGTB, the 14650's I've just bought from Toby should be better . . . . but I also like the weight of a 18650 and could always make room for another GG family member.

Batteries confuse me a bit, which would be the longer lasting...the 14650 or the 17670? i know the mah comes into it, but if they were both the same mah, for instance say, 600?

Gosh, Lilac, I think I'm as ignorant as you I think that the mAh determines the longevity, and the voltage the oomph. scylla

I think Scylla's got it Lilac . . . . although am no battery expert either.

But they're all 3 - 3.7volts, arent they? unless you double them up, of course... or has the number something to do with it as well I'm frustrated, Scylla cos my Mako seems to vape better than the GGTB, but i only have 1, 14500 batt for it, cos i had to bin the other one, so untill the new ones come from Smokejuice, im gonna be sufferin....lol Unless i'm doing something wrong with the GGTB....it just feels weak, even with a fresh batt....i've started using my new Trustfire charger, in case that's it, ive been swopping springs, unscrewing and rescrewing (shuttit, James) , vaselineing, wiping and am fed up now...i think i might implode or something

Lilac, as perpy says, Scylla got it. The higher the mAh rating, the longer the battery holds out before needing to be recharged. The higher the voltage, the greater the power - the oomph/heat.
No offence meant to the Mako, but I'm surprised you are getting a better vape from it. By all accounts, the GGTB should have a lower, if not better resitance?

((( Lilac )))
Well, I've C&P'd this from Wiki which explains the mah dooda
"mAh is a measure of the amount of charge stored in a cell or battery (set of cells). One (1) Ah is the equivalent of 1000mAh, and so the statement can be made that a cell with 2000mAh of stored charge can supply a device drawing one (1) mA for 2000 hours -- before needing replacement or recharge."
As for the GGTB performance, are you using a LR atty with it? Maybe if you're using a 510 with an adaptor it's diluting the oomph?
Performance wise mine's absolutely ok, not quite as pokey as the GGTS or SB, but then using an 18650 battery is bound to have a little more va va vroom - I'd have thought.
Thought you'd bought some 17650's to use with it?

Ello....I'm just using a regular 901 attie on it, Perpy, i don't tend to use the LR atties all the time, as altho i like the throat hit, i don't really like the heat of the vapour, and the 'consistency' of the vapour changes too, so i keep them mostly for when im working and can't vape as often...lol
Chrissie......i've always been really impressed with the Mako, even Bucko commented when he had his Mako, that a LR attie on it would be too much...cos the hit with it really is brilliant...but it is restricted by the fact that it'll only take a 14500 batt or 2 CR2's, so that's why i wanted a GGTB, but it just doesn't seem to have the same 'kick' to it, thats even with the 17670 battery, and im not using an adapter Perps...
this is when i wish we lived closer together, cos it'd be so much esier to evaluate mods if we could try each others...
I understand the mah part, but the higher the battery number, the more 'oooomph' it should supply, is that correct? i wasn't sure about that part...lol

No Lilac, the higher the battery number is just the size in dimension of the battery & has very little, if anything, to do with oomph it supplies.
For example, a 14500 battery is 14 mm in diameter & 50mm long.
The larger the size in diameter & length the more mAh they usually have.
