The techy troubles were a pain - however, tonight's meeting at Scott's may help get things moving. I think the idea of "open" meetings is a good one, but it would have been much easier to coordinate had everyone joined the Skype effort. It's practically impossible to keep the sound and chatroom in synch on any of the Ustream type feeds. That said, ECCA is also looking at GoToWebinar as a platform - it'll take 100 folk with audio and in-synch text chat.

I've got a Council meeting myself tonight Dave, so I may have to give my apologies for this this one tonight as am not normally home until 9.30-10pm.

But, I'd still like to be part of this if I may . . . thank you for your patience last night, getting used to unfamilar technical stuff is also something for me to get to grips with.

I'm just thinking out loud, it seems that a lot of people new to vaping (like myself) ask where to buy, what's the best, etc. Not many are asking "How do I support this?". I think part of the role of the ECCA should be to ensure everyone knows what is going on. I'm still learning about it but it seems we don't have a lot of time to get organised.

The various forums could play a huge role in this respect. Representatives on each forum tasked with getting everyone signed up and on the same page. For example look at how many members each forum has and how many of them comment in threads like this. I'm sure everyone cares about vaping but does everyone realise how important it is that we do something.

Sorry to keep going on, I'm in activist mode.

but, the main point is E-Cigs are not a medicine and haven't been proven to have any effect.

In the EU consultion,E-Cigs were placed into the Pharma side of things not tobacco.

With titles like "Your 901 - The definitive guide" we want to foster the idea in the public eye that we know what we're talking about.
