Just to say, after a few days of angsting I've emailed Roly tonight to decline the Chair nomination. . . not that I'm under any illusion that I would have got elected.

I'm most terribly sorry and hope I haven't disappointed anyone, especially those of you who were kind enough to nominate me in the first instance . . . I truly don't have enough hours in my day to commit to something else that requires a sustained/regular input.

Although as Kat has said, I'll willingly be involved on a ad hoc basis depending on time/other commitments if that can be of any use.
