Upcoming ECCA meeting, your views

Hi all,

This is for all forum members. Are there any issues you feel that I should raise as forum rep, to be put forward as items for the agenda of the next ECCA meeting?

I understand people not having the time to be directly involved with ECCA so this is your chance to have your say. Anyone with anything they want on the agenda can comment here or PM me.

Thanks for starting this thread Lee . . . I know that you'll have a fair bit of official business to conduct on Tuesday, depending on what formal structure ECCA will adopt, I'd imagine that a Constitution, Equalities Statement, Objectives will be among the first priorities.

After that, ejuice and it's quality control seems to be a recurring theme I read about on the forums, especially from new vapers or those thinking of making the switch.

At least it seems that things are starting to move now. Hopefully I'll get through the next meeting and have a better idea of how ECCA is going to work. It's all a bit daunting so far.

I wonder if it is worth bearing in mind that some vapers (I have no idea how many or if there are stats) vape 0mg nicotine.

It may be something that can be used to wrong foot the busybodies officials who are demanding controls because of nicotine use.

I vape medium nic at the moment but I will be trying out some zero nic flavours in the future because I think it is the physical act of vaping, the draw, the throat hit and the exhale, that I particularly enjoy.

You'll do well Lee, don't worry . . . the hardest part is getting any organisation set up and its structure/procedure in place, but once that's done you can get on to the actual business that you probably feel you volunteered for.

It won't go amiss to have an idea of the topics that ecig consumers would like ECCA to be dealing with.

Couple more thoughts today Lee . . . . I'd think it a good thing for ECCA to have a positive working relationship with Suppliers, so to that end, I wonder if the Steering Committee would consider having a ECITA member on board - even if it was in an Ex-Officio capacity.

Funds are also going to be needed for ECCA to operate, so perhaps some discussion on how monies could be raised.
