I came across something that may explain why people are reporting issues with the number of clicks required to turn ON or OFF the device. Can any VH 2.1 LT owners try this?
Press and hold the power button for 5 seconds to tun on or off.. Can someone please let me know if it works?

Nope Macca My original black LT switches on/off by doing that! This one just seems to take a bit of a 'knack'. I seem to have it now, thankfully and this may sounds stupid but the power button doesn't seem very clicky It does have more power than the original, I think, i've not had to crank it up above 4 yet

Ah ok..Thanks for the reply.. There is a device being sold called a Lambo in the US and looks to be the same as the VH 2.1. All instructions associated with this say press and hold for 5 seconds. Maybe it's the next evolution. I am sure it will be called LT 2.6 or summat..

Makes me think i didn't do too bad with my v2 from Aplollo cigs, had no problems at all after i had to re-seat the spring on initial startup, had it about 4 months now in daily use

Did you get the misfire issue solved. Mine is now doing it and its a pain in the neck, i have had about enough of this thing. The centre post has issues and sometimes it will just switch off for the fun of it, or it will just refuse to fire or fire for 2 seconds then die on me.

I got the new one from ivapour-elixir, and its a definite hold the red button for five secs to turn it off - it's the L-Rider manufactured one. So far seems nicely put together...

Well mine has been doing some strange things, would misfire and then when the battery was low the screen would go funny and now when i try to turn it on the screen just flashes at me. after pressing the button for a few mins it will come on and show full battery and last for a few seconds then shut its self off just to annoy me

My chrome L-rider Lambo 4.0/Lavatube 4.0 seems to be great quality, but this thread has got me a little worried now, does anybody know if the quality on this version I have is just as bad? Or are there any known issues I should look out for? I really like it though, really pleased with it tbh.

I've seen L-Rider and Young June on the same table top "the last models" and that Young June also had a black button, besides the different coloured small buttons they were very similar to look at, but I have to say the L-Rider definitely seemed to me to have the edge in build quality and that probably reflects the slight difference in price. so I wouldn't worry about it mate

The one i have is made by Young June and the rubber grommet that the post sits in is really bad quality.and am sure that's why LT has gone bad and wont fire or get a connection with my carto. any juice that lands on the post seems to seep by the bad grommet and get into places that it should not and that's why it will no longer turn on at all now
