Hi everyone, So got a drip tip with my new riva and decided to give it a go a couple of nights ago.....with no success whatsoever...just kept getting mouthfuls of juice!! Had to give up as mouth was going funny! My juices are in plastic bottles and it looked like the nozzles were too big to go into the tip and the juice was just sitting inside it?? So...how do you do it?!?!?!?

I adore drip-tips but I cannot use them as intended, the holes in some of them* are simply not big enough. You will have to remove the d-t and drip directly into the atty. It will be no immediate comfort to you, Always, but if you ever venture to try a cartomiser, you can remove the cap from them and use a drip-tip with them - cartomisers take a lot more juice than ordinary carts, so you're not having to fill up so often. Never fear, you're not doiing anything wrong! *I believe that the metal ones have bigger holes but the thought of metal sets my teeth on edge; and some of the nylon ones do too, but the ones I've bought (2 different sources) are too small for dripping thru scylla x

Always....i use drip tips most of the time, but they do need a wee bit of fiddling with...once you've sussed it tho, it becomes second nature, just like most things vaping On the Tornado/Riva... if i drip juice in and it just sits in the drip tip...i either...or sometimes both... 1. Wiggle it a bit while easing it upward slightly, not enough to pull it off, just a little bit...and you'll see the juice draining down into the attie... 2. If i've only dripped one drop and i see its not gonna drain, i gently blow into the drip tip... with a bit of experimentation, you'll find the ideal position for the drip tip, not loose enough to fall off, but with just enough airflow to allow it to drain freely... let us know how you get on

Would you say that the wiggling and slightly exserting (as opposed to INserting is better than removing and direct dripping, Lilac? I would have a go but don't have any cartos left, until Perpy maybe does an Eastmall order, if she gets enough takers. scylla

Always, This is a very timely question for me.. I has a metal drip tip as part of my goodies in Perpie's latest order and have been fiddling with it today. It has a good sized hole and it really doesn't feel 'metalic'. I'm really liking it. I just drip a couple of drops through the little opening... I WAS wondering how to use a drip tip with a carto tho' and now I know... Have no idea how to get the little white plastic bit out of the carto tho! Thanks for posting this question.. Lynda

Well, i think so Scyl, i only have to do it if i've taken the DT off for some reason, or its got pushed further in by me leaning on it if it's in a pocket etc, i don't have to adjust it everytime i drip into it... sometimes i don't even have to excert(great word, btw) it, just giving it a wiggle does the trick...lol but then i use it when i'm working and when i'm out anywhere, so i've had loads of practice...so i drip, drip, drip, wiggle without even thinking about it.. actually, meant to say...i have a metal DT on my GGTB, and i've never had to pull it, wiggle it or blow it.... but i dont really like the feel of the metal, as you mentioned...

Have no idea how to get the little white plastic bit out of the carto tho! Lynda They ping off quite easily Lynda, insert something sharpish in just under the carto hole, not too deep so you don't catch the element/filling and hey presto. I tend to do as Lilac does, shove a few drops in, a swoosh round and it's good to go.

Well, I finally got the top to come off but it appears to have been glued into place, and part of it stayed behind inside the carto.... The other thing that is slightly putting me off is that it tastes of onions!! A good vape but the taste...yuck. I'm clearly doing something wrong..... Nothing new there then!!

Several times over the last couple of years I've tasted onions in my e-cigs You're the first person I've seen mention it. James has got a huge bottle somewhere stashed away that tastes like very strong garlic - don't know if he's ever found a use for it scylla
