I can't understand how these are supposed to be used. onlinesecureshop.co.uk/epages/yxve46fvrnud.sf/en_GB/?ObjectPath=/Shops/yxve46fvrnud/Products/B70-16Attractive drip tip compatible with 510 and 901 atomisers. Features a large dripping hole enabling easy direct dripping straight to the atomiser without removal of the tip.Does it completely replace the cartridge/mouthpiece? If so, does it allow for the slight variation in the bore of different brands of, say, 901 atties, which sometimes requires plastic carts to be filed down or hot-needled? scylla

I know the answer to the first part of the question Scylla - that's a 'yes' Until last night, when I nearly broke some teeth trying to remove a 901 cart from a 510 atty, I had not realised there was a difference between the two atty sizes. However, looking on several sites, the drip tips seem to have a rubber washer around them - I wonder if it is this that allows it to fit both atties? I found a video about them

Talk about a coincidence Scylla. Only last night I was looking at Lisa's drip tips & wondering the same thing. Jaki, there is even a slight difference in size between some 901's, depending where you buy them from. Then of course 4075's that are often sold as 901's are also a different fit. Thanks for the link Jaki

This is GrimmGreen's video of brass ones from SuperT, it displays them and how they fit very well. Not for me, metal in my mouth I wonder if Lisa could get hold of the plastic one Xeno had - but not at the price he mentioned - after all, all it does is save me biting off the cart and holding it in my teeth while I drip. The brass ones do look "super cool" though, on the SS 901 etc EDIT: SuperT ship internationally: www.supertmanufacturing.com/id72.htmlscylla

I'm not too sure about having metal in my mouth either Scylla. Apart from anything else, I should imagine they would get quite hot. especially when vaping at higher voltages?

Well I'm blowed, Li Thank you! I don't think the metal ones can get hot, Chrissie, because Xeno and GrimmGreen surely would have mentioned it. (Cartomisers can get very hot, but the atomiser's heating element must be much closer to the lips, being as the cart is incorporated.) But the feel and taste of metal really does not appeal *yuk*. scylla

Does anyone else want to try a TW one & order together? Seems daft to pay £1.99 postage on one £1.49 item - just a thought

Oh Lolli I went and ordered one and added on something (maybe some flavouring, can't remember) to soften the P&P cost. I should think others more sensible than I will take you up on the idea scylla x

I received my drip tip yesterday and used it at work last night...i like it only prob was when i mistakenly put my tornado in my pocket upside down one time, ended up with a juice stain from it running straight back out the big hole in the tip, lol It's sooo much easier than pulling the cart on and off and looks good on my tornado... tried the LR attie yesterday too...it's good too, very thirsty little beast tho, i reckon i'd be using much more juice if i used them a lot... i may get a few when we do the group order, but think i'll mainly stick to normal atties

I'm posting in the General forum, so's not to lumber Lisa with chitchat irrelevant to her store.

Before you had the Delrin I bought one elsewhere - they're very nice to use, so much nicer than the round 510-style mouthpiece, IMO. However, I am unable to use it as designed, to drip thru, I just block up the hole every time. I've been given tips (as in "instructions") but no luck. Probably not luck but competence is lacking Nevertheless it's very quick and easy to pull off the drip-tip with one's teeth and drip into the atty. Having said that, I am now a reformed character and am using James's blue foam successfully*, so I can't use the drip-tip - misery me cos it's so lovely and comfy to vape on *This is after vaping since Oct 08 Anyway, to anyone who prefers dripping I would highly recommend your Delrin drip-tip - they do not show bite marks, for one thing And they do not loosen and fail to stay in over time, like ordinary mouthpieces tend to do. scylla

hmmmm, depends on where you purchased, there are some out there (naming no names) that don't have a big enough hole, this could be why you're not getting the juice straight through to the atty.

I think it was TW but can't find my order history there. Thing is, I ordered 2 more when I realised I liked them... from TECC, so they're the same, small holes scylla
