My thoughts are constantly with you I do know how you feel I have been through this too many times and it is horrible the only thing that kept me going was the support from good friends and that's what you have here and we are ALL praying and wishing you well

Oh, dear Chrissie - the tears are streaming down my face. How dreadful for you. I will be thinking of you. Back after the exhibition - Tuesday.

Thank you so much ((((everyone)))) for all your lovely kind thoughts & words I'm struggling badly with the grief & trying to understand firstly, why Benjy found his way down to the main road & secondly why Tasha had that massive stroke on the same day I'm still not going to b around much for the next few days as at the moment I'm either sobbing my heart out or feeling completely numb. But I will be back.

I think there's loads of things we don't, and can't and never will, understand, Chrissie....about life and the universe.... but, for whatever reason, i can't quite shake the feeling that Tasha was taken that same day as comfort for Benjy.... Try to think of it like this Chrissie, you haven't lost your 2 fur babies, you just can't see them.... Nothing will help your pain sweetie, till time fades it, crying buckets will help, well it always helps me, take your time and we're always around if you need to offload

Thanks Scylla its only a couple of years since i lost my beloved Amber, she was a boxer/akita cross and just collapsed suddenly one day on the stairs, she was only 8, but a vertebrae in her neck had caused paralysis in all 4 legs, the vet said they could operate but only gave her a 20% chance of success and she was in such distress i just couldn't put her through it.... i remember the awful pain very clearly, and the shock, i thought she still had years ahead of her... :-[

What a terrible thing to happen I comfort myself that probably neither Benjy nor Tasha suffered, I sincerely hope that's true. scylla

Thats usually the case with head injuries Scylla, they lose conciousness and don't suffer, same with severe strokes....thankfully
