Blue 1400mAh = Weds 1300hr approx to Thurs 1516hr = 26 hours, say

Just discovered an interesting thing about batteries. I saw it mentioned recently that AW batteries actually used Panasonic cells, so did some digging and found this:

I haven't read all 67 pages of this (!) but it seems the 18650's are the same as the Panasonic NCR battery cells. Presumably it is the casing/ protection circuits etc. that are particular to AW.

quick question I have a battery charger that I use for my camera, might be a silly question but would these be OK to use for a Lava? they say 2700 on the side, are these too small do you think?

2700 doesn't mean a whole lot i'm afraid - googling just brings up ansmann chargers - these are only suitable for standard rechargeables AA - AAA at 1.5v per battery what you need is a charger that will charge li-ion batteries at 3.7v (18650 is the battery size 18 mm round 65mm long) and they will only work with ni-mh batteries - the type of rechargeable you normally see in the supermarket

You can get them on eBay, the blue ones I've got are 1400mAh (that number determines how long they last).

The Lavatube is much bigger than anything you've used or seen, I would think. Before you order it, let's find out exactly what you need for a complete kit and try to find the best prices for you
