Which batteries you looking at Scylla? I've got a couple of different versions of the senybor and they are quite a bit bigger than the average 18650 battery, they only just fit in a trustfire charger at a push but they last for days

I ASQ'd him and he says he's got Samsung too but they're not listed. I'm not convinced he knew what I was talking about.

I think the important thing with the batteries for the lavatube is they have to be 65mm in length ...can someone who has one already confirm this please

I don't as yet Gordy, but that's what I understand to be the case . . . so Curtis's will be all ok.
Although I do recall Ian saying that one of his batteries with pips also fitted, but it's best to play safe I'd say.

I would keep you posted but don't have the confidence to branch out on my own. I know damn well we've got battery experts here, am waiting for their input. Prof? Stud? Anyone?

I have been doing a bit of research on this and noted the batteries people on UKV said they had tried and which fitted the Lavatube. First of course are the ones on the sites that sell the Lavatube Cheapest is the Mojou Republic one mentioned above More expensive ones that are known to work: Red AW IMR 1600mAh (but not the +power ones) Blue Trustfire 2500mAh Panasonic NCR 18650 2900mAh Panasonic NCR 18650A 3100mAh
So big range of prices! I'm still pondering which ones to get and whether to go for the more expensive ones. Hope this helps
