Thanks all.
Ordered from the UK just now. I'll get something from overseas once I'm in less of a rush.

Thanks for the links mikedidthis and colli. I did have a look at bottles4us earlier but they're out of stock in the 50 and 100ml. Will definitely place an order with ibottles since they look reasonably cheap. Should've also said that I have 10ml and 30ml bottles from my initial purchase and from old vaped liquids. So was looking for the larger ones for larger mixes. I like the idea of a sh*t mix Thanks again

Searched the forum and been reading all the posts about bottles but wanted to start my own one in case anyone has any secret knowledge gems. Now that I've got a good few flavourings, a one shot concentrate , and about to order more nic, VG and PG I'm on the hunt for bottles. Lots of suggestions out there which is useful but just wanted people's take on where to buy. Think I'm gonna start off with 100ml for mixing and steeping until I apocalypse stash for the TPD kicking it. Preferably with a dripping tip ( I think). Probably could do with some smaller ones too 50, and 30 (no idea why so just in case ) So, what's your suggestions on where to buy and what kind of tips, or caps, should I go for and bottle sizes if I'm wrong in my theory? Appreciate any and all recommendations. Thanks

Maybe loosen the coil heard a little. I have been over tightening. I've been playing with 3 replacement coils and discovered that there's such a fine line between just right and too tight. So tight in fact it's a bit hit and miss. Even just a few degrees more causes it to short to something. Wish I could see inside to work out what's going on. To me it seems a very poor design. When I tried it on the nano it worked first time. Wonder if this is something to do with the Protank 4.

Intermittently fixes it VapingBad but then the tank isn't secure enough for my liking. Have a couple of mls left then I'll be cleaning this out and trying again. Gonna put one of them into the nano and see what happens there.

Haven't got to that stage with it yet Lynne77. Still on the first coil. Will report back once I've [attempted] it though.

These aren't my own coils. They're the Kanger bought ones. The mod is a Cool Fire 4. I don't think it's the mod. The iSub tank works without issue and so does the Protank with the standard SSOCC. I did think that maybe I was screwing into the deck too much and deforming the o-ring and juice is seeping down to the contact causing the short but since I was able to put the nichrome one in without issue I don't think it's that. What else I've noticed is the deck screws further in to the mod with the Clapton coils. Not sure if that matters but it's a point of note. Maybe I've just got a bad batch of coils. The Q code says they're genuine. Once this tank is empty I'll try again with another fresh coil. Surely the whole pack of 5 can't be bad... Bits of brass swaf not cleaned out before shipping, it beggars belief I know, but I have come across a few people posting this happened. I'll check the base of them before putting the next one in but I did clean the first one all over before putting it back in so any swarf should've been wiped off.

As the title says.
Replaced my coil in Protank 4 today with Clapton 0.5 (black o-ring). Had a couple of vapes then message came up 'shorted'. Took the tank apart cleaned it up and back together again. Couple of vapes later - shorted.
Tried another coil exactly the same thing.
It was a Clapton in it so replaced like for like. Ended up taking the coil out the nano (red o-ring) and put it into the Protank 4 and no problems.
Would like to understand what's going on. Searched the net to no avail.
Anyone got any ideas?
EDIT: I should maybe add that the reported resistance drops to 0. My feeling is that juice is seeping down past the o-ring and on the contact.

Thanks all. My wording was maybe a little off and should've been 'another' supplier rather than better

Yes I did Perpetua. It's possibly a steeping issue. It's also maybe my taste buds with the added factor that I've never tasted newly mixed juice or flavourless before. Thanks for letting me know that I've not bought rubbish

Yeah it is the nicotine which makes sense since the 2ml samples I made up contained no nicotine. The batch I bought was a starter kit for an initial purchase. I'll see about buying from a better supplier next time.

Thanks stevef. Did think it was a quantity issue but mixed up some flavourless 30/70 VG at 6 mg and the after taste is still there. Different tank so it's not that. Must be one of my dilutants. Question is, how do I work out what it is? Never done this before so no idea whether flavourless should taste like that or not or is it my taste buds?

OK will try that. I did let it breathe for around 3 hours last night before putting the cap back on and putting it away.

Been attempting to make up some kind of sweet watermelon over the past couple of days.
Did a few 2mls till I thought I was happy with it then made up a 30ml bottle but it just doesn't taste like it did with the 2ml. There's a kind of weird (don't know how else to describe it) taste on the exhale. Maybe a slightly bland chemically taste.
Any idea how I can salvage it or what you think I've done wrong?
Sweet Watermelon (cap) - 8% Sweet Strawberry (cap) - 5% Strawberry Ripe (FA) - 1% Koolada (FW) - 1%
Mixed with 72mg mic, PG and VG to give 6mg @ 30/70.
Any tips would be great.
