Chrissie, lucky you! And lucky little kitty to have you as her mum. They are all so sweet. I could keep them all.

I bought two Tornado kits from them today. One for me, one for him. That must mean I'm officially a vaper, because I've committed myself to another kit now?! Plus I don't want to run out of power on my plane journeys. (A girls nightmare, running out of battery power at just the wrong time ;-) )
I've gone for the bright red for me this time, I want to go all loud and hussyesh (is that a word?) with it, to get folks asking what I'm doing.

P.S. Just thought of something else....sometimes if I take the filler out and put a couple of drops in the empty cart and put the wet filler back in, that cures it. (Rather than just dripping a couple of drops on top of the filler after you've been going a while.)

I swap atties regularly if nothing seems to be working. Sometimes it IS frustrating and then next thing you know, an attie you put on side "just in case" decides to resurrect itself. I still haven't thrown any away. Maybe none have given up the ghost, because I am rotating them?
Hissie, I went through a couple of days where nothing seemed to work. I rinsed atties out, washed the filler, started from scratch about 3 times, then left overnight and all was well in the morning.
Sometimes it's because it's too wet. Sometimes it's because it's too dry. There is a fine balance which I am still learning. Sometimes it's because the attie is flooded (my usual problem). Try blowing your atties out, from the big end, brass side down over some kitchen roll and see if that helps.

Lettie,
Just my 2p'orth...but like the others, I don't think e-cigs will do him as much harm as analogues. I had a heart attack in 2002 and still smoked, increasing to 40* a day, until I started on the e-cigs 19th June. I didn't have angina, but was told that angina attacks are brought on by exertion anyway, whereas heart attacks "just 'appen". I do have a spray in case I get an attack, but I never have, so have never used it. If it was me knowing about e-cigs just after my heart attack, I would have gone for it.
I SO know what your dad meant about having 20 and a lighter buried with him. My dad (rest his soul) also had a heart attack, and whilst he was having it, asked my mother for a cig!
Hope this helps, and good luck.
Kath

But...but....that was me on our last holiday...keeping one suitcase more or less empty, so we could fill it with cigs to bring back. And then panicking at having to buy full price when we ran out and next holiday not due for months!
We too, can afford it, but that's not the whole point?
It's the whole package for me. If I can find a fantastic subsitute for smoking (which I have) which costs a whole lot less, doesn't smell, doesn't brand you as a social outcast, is legal and gives great pleasure - then why wouldn't I go down the e-cig route?

Hi Hissie,
I had to faff about a bit getting the right amount and thickness in, but it's fine. I thought it was exactly the same stuff that is in the carts to start with? I bought it after reading a thread somewhere on here, that said it was the right thing to use. I tried the blue, and initially it was ok, but doesn't seem to hold the juice after a while.
Sorry, as a newbie myself, I don't know what else to recommend.

I think James is a bit behind with orders. I sent an order the day after he got back, Thursday, but not got yet, which is unusual. Hopein my last 5ml of Benson lasts until then. Although I do have some samples he sent to go at - RY4, Rum Icecream and Cigar if I get desperate. Not sure about the Rum Icecream!

One of our seasonal guests saw me in the office this morning, vaping away. He said "what are you doing?". He's a smoker, so wasn't alarmed that he thought I was smoking analogues. He didn't care if I was, even knowing the law! I showed him and explained. He was quite interested, but not overly and never asked about getting them etc....
I did try.

Hi Jezze,
Welcome to the forum. You'll get masses of help on here, from everybody. Nothing is too much trouble, and there's nearly always someone around.
I'm a relative newbie also, there were half a dozen of us who joined around the same time, so you'll see plenty of questions still cropping up!
I smoked 40-50 day of Richmond Kingsize. Whilst I haven't completely stopped I am down to around 3-5 a day, which is a miracle for me! As Scylla always says - count the ones you don't smoke as opposed to the ones you do!
I so hope your partner recovers soon. A lot of us on here have had or still have one health problem or another and again we chill out with each other and give lots of virtual hugs.
Good luck with your vaping!

I've washed a few nets tonight, does that count? Ashamed to say they were cream coloured with the effects of smoking, darkening to possibly a latte colour at the tops. Maybe they'll stay white(er) from now on?

What is the right way then? I've obviously noticed they are not circular. Does it make a difference, and how do you know what to do?

You have the Riva, Hissie?
So you are really looking for 510 atomisers - either normal or LR. That's what most of us bought last time, atomisers in packs of 5 for $15 a pack.
