It's taken me 5 weeks...........nearly but I've just realised why occasionally I'm getting a burnt throat (Hanow could be your burn't chest feeling) from the Riva. When you put the cart on if it's not the 'right' way they're melting and this could account for the burnt feelilng. I've noticed that a few of my carts are getting 'ragged' around the sides but only just realised why. Might be totally off the mark, but I'm certainly checking when I put them on now

What is the right way then? I've obviously noticed they are not circular. Does it make a difference, and how do you know what to do?

The attie burny bit is sort of wider one side than the other. Same with the cart so I'm now putting the wide side of the cart inline with the wide side of the attie if y ou get my drift

Knawes - see what you mean - so will be sure to line up the parts from now on.
However - although I haven't quite figured why yet - I am beginning to conclude that the pain was caused by drawing on a totally dry cart - thus very hot air drawn through. I have noticed that if the juice does get low, I do get a very dry, harsh feeling. I am now drowning my filling and am topping up more frequently to be doubly sure that I don't get a repeat performance.
