Well done Dee - great to hear you are still going strong. I had a bit of a struggle day yesterday - not wanting a real cig, but not getting too many good vapes. I kept changing att. carts, battery etc. Today I used a brand new attie - and realised that had been the problem. In just over two weeks, I had managed to wear out both atties. Thus, as someone else here said (sorry, I have forgotten who) an attie last about a week. Thus next time would be sensible to get a load from Eastmall. By the time I got around to it this time, the order had already gone off. The new one I got from Totally Wicked (very efficient service and delivery), but was about £5.00 - thus a mass buy would make a saving. But, with the new one, had a great vaping day. I am mixing James's tobacco with lime - great!

Tara - another South Westie I see! Quite a few of us in here are from this end of the world. Must be something in the water!

Hissie, I can't remember where I read it, which thread etc. But I now take the fllling stuff out of the cart (the mouth bit) and put 3/4 drops in, then put the filling back in, then add a few more drops on top - then drop a drip onto the attie - then assemble it. Hope that makes sense. Buckowski described it better than that, but that is the principle.

Kath, you have done really well. I can understand you using up your real cigs, but I bet you won't go and buy that quantity again perhaps? I have 7 cigs left in a packet, and haven't been tempted, even when my Riva isn't performing. Very nearly lapsed once or twice, frustrated trying to get a vape hit - until I did a clean out, fresh charge, new cartridge etc. And since following Buck's advice for filling the cart, have had better vapes. But well done you. Really hope you see those pennies grow and you get your trip. x

PMSL at Buckowski's stash. But have just added up mine, and have a fair bit too! Compulsive testing and experimenting still going on here.

Thanks for the bouquet, Scylla - they smell gorgeous. Day 16 for me, and still going strong - no desire to kill anyone etc. Can't thank you all enough. Well done to all of you 'old-vapers' - your records are brilliant, and adds to my confidence to hear how long you have been fag-free (or nearly).

Tara - I am a vaper of just over two weeks, and also smoked Windsor Blue of late. I started with James's higher one, but don't think that is necessary. I have some 24 fruit flavours which are fine for the nicotine, albeit don't throat hit the same as James's tobacco ones. I buy L and B from him, but B and Fences is also good. As you are a new user, if you are like me, you will be filling and twiddling (possibly spilling) - so I would say at least 60ml. But to be doubly sure, if you can afford to, perhaps 60 ml of two flavours might be a good idea. If you decide you don't like one, you may well be able to sell it on here. James currently has an offer for 60ml @£22. Hope that helps. I also have some fruit ones that don't do such a good throat hit, but am combining them with James's tobacco L and B, and actually enjoying the sometimes daft combinations whilst getting the throat hit.

James, have just placed and order via your shop for more L and B - sudden panic that I could run out while you were away. But now have read this - and you have cappucino???? OMG - James, can I have a little one to try please, but can I send a cheque for it? It took ages getting through the Nochex payment tonight. It kept sending error messages, but got there eventually. Thanks Mister. x

Hi Pabs - and again, well done James. You are a star. Only four more days James, and you are jetting off. I do hope that you treat yourself to something - a new dress perhaps - I think mauve might suit you?

Knawes - my one and only ash-tray was put away for the first time in years. When smoking friends turned up at the weekend, I as so miffed at having to dirty it up again! But, was so pleased when their smoking didn't bother me in the least. I tried to promote my new toy and vaping, but they were having none of it. Everyone in their own time. Just wish my time of 'vaping' had been a few thousand pounds ago.

Scylla - hunnie, just catching up and getting an idea now of what difficulty you were having. Well done hunnie. As someone said, one small step at a time. Judy, yes, hard to remember now just how she was. She sends a hug, and says to remind you - next time you visit - chicken strips and bonios will keep you in her good books.
