Dee, sorry hunnie, must have missed your post re: atties. From reading the above, you have ordered some - but not from China? Yes, will be great to hear of a good source. Did you also read a post that I put somewhere today about the atties appearing to be fading? I left one untouched for a day or so, thinking it was duff, and it is fine again today! No idea what that was about - science and technology not my strengths.

Hissie - re battery - I find with mine, that even when battery is empty, pressing button will still make it go momentarily blue. Thus if yours is not doing that, then maybe something is wrong with it. Can you see if the button is 'stuck' in - if you see what I mean. One of mine was like that when it arrived, and I thought something was wrong, but after a few pushes it did release. If not, then no idea what else to suggest other than to get back to LF, assuming that is where you bought it. What a nuisance for you - not the best of starts.

Hissie, that's not a good start for you. Frustrating. I'd happily send you some, but where I live is a total pain to get to the post office etc., so may be someone else could get some to you. Did you order from James or elsewhere? Mine arrived from James this morning.
I think it is important to start with a good vape. James's tobacco ones do it for me. I have ordered fruit type flavours from elsewhere, which taste gorgeous, but don't vape/throat hit in the same way. Thus I haven't yet found a supplier to suggest as an alternative. The last thing you need is to start out with a juice that you don't find satisfying. So perhaps hang around for Chrissie, Jaki or Scylla to suggest where you may be able to get a good juice until James gets back. They have a lot more experience than I do. I am still learning and experimenting.

Kath, I know you placed an Eastmall order for Riva atties. Do you have a link which shows the ones you ordered? I was slow out of the starting gate to get in on your order, so am thinking of placing one myself. If anyone else missed yours, then they could join in with mine. Let me know what you might want folks. Newbie Riva peeps will need new atties as back up. Eastmall charge 15 dollars for postage, which we could then share. I also think 5 atties are about 15 dollars? Also, Chrissie et al (the experty peeps) any idea how long Eastmall take to process/deliver? Thanks all. xx

Knawes and Jaki, thanks. I shall try what you suggest, Kath, and agree, Jaki, a good idea to order for others at the same time, albeit I know an order has just gone pff. Some of the newbie Riva users may want to order some though. I assume you have got your before from Eastmall, so are confident that they are okay.

I think you all must be basking in the heat wave somewhere - which isn't here! Wasn't good yesterday, and awful here today - very wet and windy! I am sitting here in a sweater. (Insert miserable smily here!)

Kath - I also bought a new attie from TW, and I can't get mine to work either. Have you managed to get your going? Perhaps they got a duff batch - or, we are even more duff than we realise we are.

Lettie, been chuckling loudly at your posts. I assure you, you are in the right place for being a 'twonker'! I am now on day 16 of vaping (but I'm not counting) and still find myself in a morning, before brain engages properly (well, as well as it is going to thse days) and grab the Riva, then spend five minutes trying to find my lighter! Twerp or what?

Sorry and thank you folks. I have noticeds that it is about half a cm longer than the atties provided with the Riva.
I can't see a hole, but there is absolutely no suction at all. If I remove it and screw in a working attie and same cart - then no probs. Confused here. I clearly need to order a good stock of atties, and started with this one - so not a great first attempt! Thing was, I had a converstation with the girl on the order-phone line - but she didn't know which atty was required for the Riva - so between us we went from the pictures.
Of interest, those who have ordered from East Mall - which ones have you ordered for the Riva? I might place an order myself. Liberty Flights don't have any atties - and still are not answering a phone to assist. Thus at the moment, I am playing a guessing game, and clearly getting it all wrong.

Hi Ken, not sure who is around who certianly knows far more than me. But, will attempt to answer a few questions -as a two-week newbie, and if I get it wrong, an expert will come and correct me (I hope!).
Empty cart frm my understanding means empty of Juice. My Riva came with 10 carts with fluffy stuff in - looking like white polyester cushion filling. I had then add juice.
The Riva has a battery with a button on it. To make it work and heat the atomiser, you press the buttong for 3-4 second whilst heating/vaping. Thus, I assume that you could put it in a pocket, bag or whatever, and inadvertently be pressing on the button and thus draining the battery.
I recall doing something similar with a mobile phone once. I hadn't turned it off, and it was sat in my bag, getting depressed every so often, for whatever reason. When I finally got my phone out to use it, there was no credit left in it (It was a Pay as you go) because I had apprently phoned my bank (the landline, not a mobile number) 46 times!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! No credit left, battery flat, and hadn't phoned or spoken to anyone! Pretzel or what?
Hope some of that helps you. But as I say, I am sure one of the experts will be along soon to explain it all somewhat better than I can. xx

Judy - you still call that place LOS? Distant past hunnie - we move on. xxxx But very well done for giving up the dreaded weed and enjoying vaping (and, like me, struggling to get it right.) But keep repeating after me: 'I can do it, I am strong, I can do it, I am strong.' xxxxxxxxxx

Lettie, if you contact Cloud 9, they would need to refund your PP account. You can't retrieve it yourself. I do hear from others that Cloud 9 is very good, so I don't think you will have a problem. Glad to hear that you have your Riva and juice and are off and running with it. Isn't it wonderful? Good luck with it. You are now officially a vaper.

If anyone is still around - can't help with the atomiser question - in fact have one myself.
I have the Riva, and ordered a new attie from Totally wicked. It fits the screw in part to the battery, but has absolutely nil drawing power, and gets hot extremely quickly. Could I have the wrong one, or is it possible that it is faulty? It is the first time I have bought a spare, so I am not at all sure what the problem could be.

Dee, the Riva kit comes with LR atties, yes, which I think last longer, and give a better vape I believe. I got confused when I had a hunt for some. There seem to be two sizes for atties - and the Riva needs 510 (which are also called Tornado) So I was told. Hope I got that right.

James has to just remember that he has a few 'big girls' back here that he has to keep happy!
