Tinytim - that's just it isn't it - finding your own way in your own time. Pressure frm others just doesn't help. Well done for getting down to 6-9 a day. I tried Zyban some years ago - didn't help me at all; I still had terrible cravings. Thus am so thrilled to have found vaping - no cravings at all. Good luck to you, and hope you keep going.

Jaki, can you please expand upon the blue foam filler? Can you get it here? I assume you chop it to size to fill the cartridges.

Lots of lovely animal lovers in here. Don't think I have ever been to St Austell - but train has stopped at the station! The Westies are both rescues - the oldest just turned 16 in May and is getting very frail. We don't think she will be with us much longer. But while she still has quality of life and no pain, then she is still holding on. The other is 12 - and still acts like a 12- month-old. My other two are rescues - one a Heinz 57 semi-disabled, and the other a lummox boxer boy! Love cats too, but the dogs do not. Has anyone heard from Chrissie? I do hope she is okay. ((((Chrissie)))))

Scylla - St Ives, Cornwall. Two of my Westies on the beach there. Knawes, re the membership question - perhaps it's because I have posted soooooo many more questions than you? And bless their sox in here - they have demonstrated oodles of lot patience answering them all. I was wondering about the 'karma' score. I certainly am an awful lot 'karma' with my new-found toy. Think I need a higher score.

Scylla - yes, the word is 'terrific'. I still can't believe it. Am in danger of becoming a e-cig bore now. I so want to promote it to all and sundry. In fact have just had a conversation with another 'smoker' and am about to send her an email with a link to this board. I am most definitely now an ex-smoker - so thanks again to everyone in here. You are all at the top of my Xmas list.

Dee - James - yes, so learning all of this vaping! A whole new science. Loving it! So thrilled to be - finally after too many years - a non-smoker.
James, you are such a gem sending out your samples. I really do hope that all those receiving your generous free samples continue to go on and purchase from you. You really have assisted me by providing the opportunity to not only try out the free samples, but to also appreciate what vaping is all about. Thanks hun. Committed customer here. xxxx

Hi James, as you know, have placed my order for L and B - so that will keep me happy on the tobacco front. I know that you are going to do some new recipes - and have asked on the main board re: flavours. Well, I ordered a couple of small bottles from a rival: caramel coffee flavour, and tropical fruit. Both have a fantastic taste, but one which is 32mg, I can't get any throat hit with it, albeit tastes lovely. But the tropical fruit one, which is only 24mg, gives a good kick. Thus I don't understand what gives the throat hit. From that experience, I assume that level of nicotine has nothing to do with it? Is that correct? It perhaps is how/what it is mixed with? Would appreciate if you could clarify that for me. As I adapt to, and get comfortable with vaping, I would then like to reduce the nic content gradually. I assume that is what others do? ??? But on the flavour front re: ideas for your new recipes, a caramel coffee/latte, and a good fruit one, would be my choice. Obviously, being so new to this, I can't be very helpful at this moment simply because I haven't had experience of a wide variety. Still getting my head aorund smoking a flavour!

Dee - are you sure we are not twins? That was my thought - electronic wine next!
Lolli - feel for you hunnie. This really was my last resort to try vaping. To be honest, I just didn't expect it to work - which doesn't help of course. Like the time I tried hypnosis - which was hopeless.
But the vaping has made me actually appreciate what I got from a cigarette - and it is the holding something, inhaling, sufficient throat hit, then the blowing out. The fact that it came with nicotine to stem the withdrawal factor was something I hadn't ever considered - until, of course, absence of smoking brought on the cravings - e.g. long flights etc. Thus vaping with a good gadget and juice with nicotine in has ticked all of my boxes.
My e-cig is doing all of that for me - albeit I have had to play around with juices, battery charge, filling cart correctly etc. But once achieved, I do feel that I am having a cig. It is such a pity that that isn't happening for you.
Being a newbie, I'm not in the position of assisting you much I am afraid. I am still experimenting myself. But - just a thought - have you tried vaping with different models of gizmos? The Riva - once working properly, has been very effective for Dee and I, and I am sure that Judy will be fine when she gets the juices/strengths to suit her. Could it be something as simple as that - the wrong gizmo? I shall get a second/back up kit, and would worry about choosing one in case it didn't work as well as the Riva. I know if I had not started out with an efficient gizmo, I would most probably have given up on it all immediately, and just considered that I had wasted more money in an effort to give up. Willpower of a nat!
I do so hope you can find the right combination - but at least well done you for persevering. xx

Thanks James- and it is with your help - so pat yourself on the back too. Judy struggling a bit because the two I sent her - Marlborough and... can't remember the other one.... too strong for her, but I found those a bit 'harsh' too. I have told her that she will get a better idea of what suits her when she gets the samples. I really like the L and B. Also looking forward to your new recipes after your hols. Am only wishing I had found all of this years ago. But as they say, better late than never. As I have a purchase type query, I shall put that up on your Paradise seller board.

James, no worries hun. I am still happily vaping with your very generous samples. Thus I am in no rush for my order. I managed to get two of my samples (sent by you to me) into the post yesterday, up to Judy - and they arrived today with her new Riva-gizmo. Thus she is off and running at least.

Jaki - so, so, so true. I truly cannot believe: a) this has worked for me, when everything else on the market has failed to persuade me to even begin to desist. The ease with which I have done this, I am still finding unfathomable (knowing myself as I do.) b) I am - for the first time in over 30 years - seeing the reality of my 'real cig' addiction - and could cry at the health lost, money wasted, social situations missed etc. c) The money I am going to save on fuel costs! During the winter/rain/snow - standing and puffing with the back door open to puff as much out as possible; just how much more did the heating bill amount to whilst achieving that? d) The 'devil on the back' has had a very good side-swipe - and that is wonderful to finally be able to say, "Get lost".
