I only had the standard Riva kit and I thought the atties were just the normal ones. I am getting this new one sorted out. It seems to me from limited experience that not all atties work the same. From the kit, I had one that worked better than the other Just had another vape (changed cartridge), more cloud

Comotose attie still too weak, despite cleaning, oven drying and leaving overnight - again. However, good news in that the replacement atties arrived from LF this morning. Have tried one - fits fine, took / taking a little while to get going but otherwise fine. Funny how the original attie from the kit produced clouds of vape to start with. Am I the only one that is struggling to get replacements going? ??? Oh, by the way, attie come with blank (no filler) carts we well

Well, left my comatose attie for 24 hours, cleaned again and I would need a vacuum to get a vape. Last resort clean again, dry after oven cooked tea and try again in the morning........
Other attie hanging on, LF have posted new ones, fingers crossed for their arrival tomorrow a.m. -
Went on a course today and went outside to vape with the smokers - will now send vaping info to people I met today, maybe more converts....

Hi Dee Thank you for that, will be interested to see how TW atties perform. Have tried cleaning the battery end and the attie but unfortunately it doesn't seem to make a difference with the frst one. ??? The second one is so far keeping going but only just. Fingers crossed it lasts until the new ones arrive Thanks to everyone for their help on this, just didn't want to make a mistake with a vital order!

Thank you very much for that, having a panic at the thought of not being able to vape, also really worried about getting the wrong ones, as it said "mini" thought they may not work

Two whole weeks cig free! Cannot believe it (neither can family) and it was painless too. Did not realise how smoking had dulled my sense of smell and taste. Improved sense of taste not good for diet but can now sense a smoker quite a distance away....... One thing I don't understand is that I had a smokers cough before I started vaping, now thankfully nothing. I have been told my ex-smokers in the past that when you give up you have a terrible cough for a while, apparantly clearing your lungs? Am still vaping outside when out as do not have the courage to ask if I can vape inside and have not seen any vapers anywhere

Hi Beeper, I'm a newbie here both to the forum and vaping. I used to smoke 20+ rollies a day and I used gold leaf tobacco. I am on day 11 of no smoking, happily using the Riva 510 and feeling really good about it. The first couple of days were a bit of a struggle as I was using a high strength e-juice (30+mg) and I think it was bit harsh for me. I'm now using 24mg nicotine e-juice (LnB is my favourite tobacco flavour from Paradise Vape) and its working well. Check the tips on the forum for instructions on the Riva 510 as the ones that come with the kit are a bit vague. Vaping is much less hassle than rolling cigs, just keep the spare battery charged. I'm feeling good, I have been smoking for over 30 years and I never thought I would be able to kick the habit. Already I've noticed that my circulation has improved, I don't have the chesty cough, my skin is improving and I just feel better Good luck!

Hanow - so true. Am not going back to ciggies. Have a good stock of e-juice and will happily vape. Gave N a vape yesterday - he was not so impressed... Also gave him my stock of filters, papers and last bit of baccy, not buying any more!

Thank you (Hanow) as always! Glad to see that neither of us has lost our sense of humour. Number one son coming for coffee today, will try not to make him go outside for a ciggie and will definately give him a vape to see if I can start to convert him. (think as he likes the real MJ, may have more of a problem on his conversion) ??? Am trying more fruit and veg (very heavy in Morrisons shopping basket) and buying less starchy stuff. Am sure that bread etc is my downfall as this wasn't really available in Thailand and therefore didn't eat so much of it. All it boils down to really is less eating and more exercise! Without any will power not so easy >
