www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-birmingham-18719962A police source told BBC Radio WM a passenger was seen pouring a liquid into a box, which then started smoking. The 48 passengers on the Megabus Preston to London service were led off the coach and forced to sit apart in a cordon on the opposite carriageway. Police said a report of vapour escaping from a bag which led to the security alert was caused by "a health improvement aid for smokers".

You know I have played it and didn't really get on with it. Felt really unbalanced. Hmm, I'd be interested to know which race you thought was OP? And how long ago was it when you played it? They are constantly patching it with balance changes, and it seems to be in a pretty reasonably balanced state at the moment (some terrans are moaning about zerg currently being OP, due to increased Queen range and overlord speed, but I think they're overstating the case). Seems to me that it's often the case that a complaint about balance is really just an excuse for not thinking hard enough about build order / meta-game adjustments. But most of that is beyond my capabilities in any case. I'm just a silver league player, so I'm just trying my best not to get cheesed every single bleedin' game. (One of the problems for me is, I was never into SC:BW, so I don't have any point of comparison. Oh, and by the way, not meaning to be pedantic, but that's a Stalker, not a Dragoon. There are no Dragoons in SC2. Not yet, anyway. Maybe they'll bring them back by the time we get to the 3rd expansion!) I primarily play Zerg and at release they were pretty badly nerfed (IMHO) and there weren't many early balance changes. Paired with the fact that I'm probably total garbage at the game (most of the meta-game is beyond me too) and I'm just making excuses. I may give it another try now that its had some time to 'settle'. The thing with SC: BW was that it's now what, 14 years old and was touted for having pretty much perfect balance. You normally play 'Toss?

Ah, sorry CS, I meant to come back to this thread yesterday with links to posts on ECF about e-cigs being banned in Singapore. And then got distracted & forgot to do so. There is a specific SG vapers sub-forum on ECF but unless you are already an ECF member with at leat 5 posts, you wont be able to post on it, but there might be some useful info for you to read - www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/sg-vapers/Thanks Chrissy - lots of helpful posts in there... - commonsense

Gamers! Excellent Used to play a lot of PC games. Was heavily into Quake 2 and Quake 3 Arena and then Counter-Strike up until 1.5. Got a little bit bored of needing to upgrade the PC in order to play anything so if I get on that to play anymore it's normally playing SC: Brood War over Hamachi with some old friends. Not that I have time for it at the moment, but I have been playing Fable II on the 360. It's pretty great and the missus doesn't mind playing it with me as well. She likes fire. And 'throwing it out of her hands.' She's just bought us Fable III - so we'll go through that once we've finished Fable II. Before that played the Mass Effects and Portal 2. LAN Party's ahh.. I remember the days. It'd actually be kind of fun to do that again with old games. - commonsense Edit: Bit of a shot in the dark. Did anybody play Earth & Beyond?

Hi and thanks commonsense,I really think this is the thing to help me all this nicotine replacement patches gum etc were rubbish, when i tried the disposable ecig i never touched a fag,was really surprised at that...but whats with `next step up`? can you not stick to one or do you always have to upgrade the e-cig?? That's the ticket I also struggled with other stuff. I really think this stands out because it replicates the experience of having a smoke. In terms of upgrades and stuff. As esmecullen's said if you're happy with what you've got then there's really no need to upgrade, just replace what's past it's useful live (cartomizers / clearomizers / juice, etc). I get the sense though, that there is a real hobby atmosphere to vaping and you may very well find yourself drooling over the shiniest new stuff! Who knows. It's all about the journey after all, so just enjoy it.. - commonsense

Just a quick update on some of the stuff from my last post - may be helpful to some.
i did a forum search on Singapore and may have broken the search function because had no luck. Anyway, a quick Google Search revealed that indeed e-cigarettes are banned in Singapore. A number of people on aussie vapers forum have had experience coming in with their kit and not had any problems. I'm pretty risk averse by nature so am just planning to put stuff in my checked in luggage and take my skycig kit in carry-on.
RE: Juices, am placing an order for some menthol / tobacco flavors (and a few fun ones) from health-e-vape and am looking forward to that.
Anyway, cheers for all the help thus far!

Welcome to the forums tmax. I'm a newbie to the forums as well and the people here have been great thus far. A real great community and a wealth of knowledge for when those 'sooooo confused' moments rear their ugly heads. I've had my 'next step up' kit for about a week now and like others have found the transition away from the smokes relatively easy. This isn't the case for everyone, however, so when you do get going don't put too much pressure on yourself to cut out completely. It should happen naturally I also went for the pick n' mix as my first eliquid foray and can thoroughly reccommend it as a starting point. I'm getting ready to place another order for liquid tomorrow. Anyway, best of luck! - commonsense

Hi Ripple, Sorry to hear about your health problems. They may not have figured out exactly what is wrong, but every test helps to shed some light on the issue. All my wishes for a swift and comfortable recovery. P.S. love the sheltie pups

Hi folks, Just a quick check-in. Firstly, thanks again for all the really warm welcomes and extremely useful advice. I had a bit of a tough one on Friday night when out for dinner and drinks. My refill of the skycig cartos didn't go particularly well and had to resort to nasties - but only 3 over the course of the evening which is pretty amazing really. Got back home on Saturday to my home kit and things have been smooth sailing since. Really enjoying it and smokes haven't really crossed my mind at all. So far Perpetua, your flavor is probably my favorite out of my pick n' mix. I also quite like the 666, it doesn't really have a tobacco taste as much as advertised, but I really dig the nutty flavors. On a side note, I've just had a little bit of a stress after realizing that I may not be able to take my kit along with me on my business trip in mid-July. I'm off to Singapore for two weeks and understand that e-cigarettes are banned. Does anyone have any experience of this? I'd rather not have any issues at sing customs or fined or confiscated, etc. 2risky: Cheers for that - i had guessed that was the kind of shelf life so will be readying a few orders in preparation sg1: Thanks for the recommendations - have you tried the dekang juices as well? What are the differences between the two's normal tobacco / menthols? Cheers, - commonsense
