Don't panic trevor. It's different ways of expressing the nic content. The 0.1 shown on your fag packet is equivalent to 10mg liquid. So 20mg juice is twice that, not 100 times Hi One, I’m not at all questioning you advice but I would like to understand a little more about what you have said. How on earth can 0.1Mg represent 10mg is it to do with the way we absorb it, sorry maybe I’m being rather thick here as usual. I would like to understand what you have said a wee bit more please. Also one point I can’t find any reference to on the forum, is that my tips seem to leak towards the mouth-piece I would assume it’s quite normal, but as the product is labels as toxic… I find myself drying my lips all the time on my tea shirt or tissue. I assume I’m being over cautious and possible on the verge of paranoia. :-) Trevor |

Good morning all, Sorry I had no wish to start a controversial post to this thread, I was only stating what I had all ready read on this forum, whilst doing some homework before and after I had purchased one. I hope the debate has now finished, as I’m going to either purchase a mains charger or this www.ebay.co.uk/itm/280522733324?ssPageName=STRK:Anyway back to another question, the cigarettes’ I have smoked for around 20 odd years are listed as 1mg Tar & 0.1Mg Nicotine, the liquid I have purchased is 20Mg of Nicotine, I know there is no guide lines as how much one vamps… but it may explain my headaches as someone suggested last light that I’m taking on to much Nicotine if I’m thinking on the right lines! I think I’m taking in more than 100 times the nicotine I would take with having a fag!! ok I know I’m not taking in all the other chemicals, but I can’t quite get my head around all this, maybe I sound reduce the liquid down to 8Mg I hope you all get what I’m trying to ask here? I Vaping puts nicotine in your body. So you need to be careful that you don't overdose. Symptoms are headaches and nausea so chain vaping, whilst easily done, is not good. Learn to put your imist down for a period of time every half hour for 20 minutes or so. Oh and you can vamp all you like..  Thanks Maccafan, that explains the headaches I’ve been having. I purchased the 1100. Sounds like I need to cut down a wee bit. |

I have also read on here that it’s not a good idea to use a laptop to recharge so I will be purchasing a mains charger this week. Oooh can you remember the reason why Trevor? Because if its a definite no no then I'm going to have to get a mains charger too (unless I can use my iphone one) Jax, sorry its on here somewhere I will try and find it, I believe from memory someone was saying it a no no as it has the potential to damage the mother board!!! so one suggestion was to use the desk top, however I believe one of the Mods then went on to say better still use a mains charger. |

Edit… forgot to say I’m disappointed with the life off the batteries, I have also read on here that it’s not a good idea to use a laptop to recharge so I will be purchasing a mains charger this week.
Is there a limit to how much one vamps? Maybe I’m using them too much; also it does seem to get hot rather quick, is this normal?

Hi Batty, Many kind thanks for asking, I’m sorry for the delay in replying I didn’t bookmark the site, and lost you all for a few days, I’m pleased to say I’m back and have now bookmarked.
Well within the 2 weeks of vaping I have managed to reduce my fags by well over 50% and to be totally honest that’s without trying to hard, I’m sure if I really put my mind to it I could do a lot better. However the last thing I want to do is try to hard at first, and fail or become despondent, and end up giving up on vaping, if that make sense.
As for the 4 samples I purchased from Vapescape
I will list them for all to see
1 Mintoff I thought this would be a really strong minty taste, but sorry to say I’m not impressed with this one. 5 / 10
2 Vanilla Tabac, nice taste but again not a strong taste or a pleasant smell as the name would suggest. 5 / 10
3 Aniseed like the taste and the smell, good all round liquid, I would purchase this one again. 7 /10
4 Caramel Cappuccine, my favourite by a long way from them, I will almost defiantly purchase this one again. 8 /10
I have to say the one I purchased from the outset when I got the Imist is very good now I have something to compare it with; it is Vermillion River (Kentucky Vanilla blend)
Please note to all that read this post… we all have different tastes and the review I have given is only my personal opinion and lets face it I’m not experienced in this field at all.

I see you have also blown out the advice I was given about the manufactures of the liquid from China.
Cyberpixie, many thanks for that… so it looks like 70% PG 30% VG is a good place to start.
Are there one or two strongly recommended UK suppliers, not sure if recommendations are allowed on the forum, but I have noticed a vast difference is costs? and have read on here about some poor quality.

Hi all,
I’m new to the forum today, although I have been reading and dipping in for tips and advice.
I can’t seem to find the answers to some specific questions I have.
Firstly I have only been vaping for 2 weeks, so its all new to me, I have heart problems and need to reduce… or stop the fags altogether would be ideal. I see from a lot of posters signatures’ this is more than possible.
1st question is what is the difference between, VG & PG, someone told to get 100% PG liquid! Any advice would be most helpful, 2nd question is how do we trust the manufacture as none of the bottles I have at present show ant recipients – ingredients’
I was told to avoid stuff made in China! The other problem is there seems to be no regulation what so ever on the products we purchase, so would you please be kind enough to help point me in the direction of a trusted seller, or manufacture.
I have just purchased a Olymplan Imist from ecig wizard one of the liquids is Vermillion river, the other is Freedom smoke USA
