I tend to use 2.8 ohm atty heads on the ZMAX and 2.4 ohms on the Lava tube.I usually rinse out the atty heads and tank every 2 or 3 refills.

PG is VERY drying,and will give you a sore throat if you vape a lot at high concentrations,but some like that hard throat hit.The chesty wheeze could also be the crud starting to move about in your lungs as you stopped poisoning the lining with over 4000 toxic gases.One thing you could try is have a go on a Variable Voltage device.With that you can tailor the voltage that vapourises the juice so you get the best vaping experience.All juices ARE not the same and some need lower voltages and some need higher voltages.Witht eh standard Ego setup youre stuck on one voltage.

I also found PG was harsh on my throat,but its seems that its all toned down,i now have 60/40 or 70/30 max and have no sore throat,it also might be that as youre not using a VV device that youre getting what i call a "hot throat hit" basically you cant adjust the voltage thus customising the throat hit.

Grahame,its not the end of the World.You say that you have been smoking for quite some time.In that time you will have put quite a large amount of Tar in your lungs.Its going to take quite some time for this to start to clear.Sometimes the lungs are habituatated to the Toxins in Smoke and when they are assaulted by "fresh air" they dont like it,sometime the small bronchioles can go into spasm giving you "Asthma like" symptoms,basically they are going Cold Turkey!In vaping the carrier liquids are found in a whole gamut of Medical inhalers,so the PG/VG is pretty damn safe or it wouldnt be allowed.In smoking its NOT the Nicotine that does the damage to the lungs but the loss of the Cilliated Epilthelial layer on the lung that "sweeps" out the crud.These are destroyed by the 4000 odd Toxic Gases that are present in Tobbacco smoke.Once your Lungs have got used to not being assailed buy noxious substances,their function will stabilise and you should experience an improvement in Lung Function.DONT expect this overnight cos it wont happen,but you WILL feel the benefit fairly quickly,the loss of the Morning hacking cough for example.Some people are sensetive to PG more than VG,so you may find you need to tinker a bit with the concentrations.The main thing is that YOU HAVE QUIT SMOKING TOBBACCO!Thats is a MAJOR step by any means.I assume that you had a "Peak Flow" test?You wont get a massive increase in that for some time but it WILL come.I also agree that your GP is a real NOB,and the chances are i have actually seen them in the course of my job as a Drugs Rep!

I initially had a few probs getting some decent juices.I have 3 stable all day vapes,Grants Vanilla Cuatard,Alba Vapours Swedish Fish and Cherry Frost.I have about a dozen bottles of assorted juices that TO ME are absoloutly gopping,but others swear by them.I vape exclusively using Vivi Nova tanks,a 2.8 ohm atty head for my ZMAX and a 2.4ohm on the Lavatube.If i use a clearo on either then the juices tastes totally different,using the VN Tank i think for me gets the best flavour and vapour.

what about actually making the wick in metal and heat that DIRECTLY?Like using the mesh as one big coil?Please bear in mind,i can just about wire a plug up.

Andy, I watched a review of this a few weeks ago, is it tarty. No not at all,its quite difficult to explain but here goes.Its like Haribo style jelly fruit sweets(Its NOT like Gummi Bears juice,thats just yukky)nice and clear mouthwatering flavours,then you get a "fizz" and a taste of the old fashioned "Refreshers sweets",its not overpowering but just enough to notice,its a "one off" flavour that doent really have an equal.It was one of my first juices and i LOVE it(almost as much as GVC)sadly the 18mg strength is out of stock at the moment.Also you dont really need to steep this juice either,its a great all day vape! |
